Unique Country Estate nr Mountains & Beach

It was absolutely beautiful, quirky, and beautiful original features, with a modern twist, sat on the beautiful sofa situated in the bedroom drinking wine, looking out into the stunning gardens, it’s a 10 minute taxi ride into silloth, well worth it !

There wasn’t anything not to like !

Extremely clean, owners lovely, gorgeous fresh made bread, jams, milk and cereal all included. Felt so welcome. All towels (including face cloths if you use them) are provided as well as bedding. In kitchen tea towels, washing up liquid etc provided too.

Internet is patchy and can't do video calls. Only a dvd player, no tv. Neither were a big problem though.

Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Gorgeous garden.

It’s absolutely stunning we fell in love with it!

Everything clean and well set out. Extra touches like milk butter cereal condiments. Few board games and gardens to explore.

Being rural property television smart tv not available. It was set up with WiFi but rural location. There were videos available. When on holiday don’t watch much tv not much of an issue.

Set in gardens that in Summer would be a delight together with a lovely ornamental pond. Host was very helpful in assisting us to operate the ceramic hob when we couldn’t understand the manufacturers instructions. Lovely and warm considering it was February and spotlessly clean.

Wi-Fi was perfectly fine for us except that the TV wasn’t able to function other than as a DVD player due to internet issues. My wife couldn’t locate the hairdryer after her shower.

Quiet location and nice and clean

Heating was inadequate for winter - took over 90 min to increase 1 degree from 16 degrees.
