Pentre Cottage

Beautiful room with amazing mountain views, it was clean and comfortable with mountain walks on the doorstep. Is my second time staying and we will definitely be back.

De ligging is 13 min van de oorspronkelijke locatie op booking. Desalniettemin een rustige locatie. Wij hadden allen zelf liever in het dorpje zelf gezeten

Geen gordijnen dus vroeg licht. Veren van het matras voel door het matras heen. Badkamer deur gaat moeilijk open, in een kamer van 4 zijn dan je mede gasten gelijk wakker. Geen info over het ontbijt en bij navragen duurt het lang voor een antwoord dat het 9:15 bezorgd wordt. Dat is te laat als je op doorreis bent. Overigens erg gehorig gezien het een woonhuis is wat opgedeeld is. Bij ons naast zat een groep jongeren die erg onrustig waren ‘s nachts. Al met al geen fijne ervaring

The location was beautiful and close to all our planned activities. Staff were helpful

There were a few issues during our stay but these were resolved by the hosts. Was unaware the cottage was split into different apartments but that was an oversight on my end

Very good location, and easy to reach by public transport with a lovely walk through the country park to Craig y Nos. The room was large enough although small if you were a family of four. Well equipped kitchenette.

There was no breakfast. Despite one of the Property highlights being 'Good Breakfast' apparently I booked a self catering option. Probably my mistake, but could have been clearer on the website. Also, although communications getting to the property were excellent, when I reported a power failure in the morning I did not get a reply until I had already left. And there was a lot of noise from the other rooms. not loud, but constant sound of TV. The room could be easily improved with better lighting - just one overhead light and an unreliable bedside lamp with a dodgy connection.
