Pentre Cottage

The location was great and we could see Mynydd Cribarth from our window - which was great. Plenty of parking space too.

Our towels were damp when we arrived. One towel was jammed behind the bathroom radiator. We asked for dry towels, yet received no reply whatsoever.

Location, quiet, owner was knowledgeable and the view from window was fabulous, shower lovely and hot

Exterior could do with tiding up. Old van and truck in carpark, bags of rubbish, generally untidy. Room very basic, old milk left in fridge, bed uncomfortable, garden full of rubbish

It was very clean. Comfortable bed and nice linen. Bathroom was clean and good shower once it was hot. Clean kitchen/dining area.

A slight lack of kitchen equipment - no coffee making, no utensils or dishes to use in the microwave apart from ordinary plates. Only two bowls which was fine for us but there are bunk beds so not enough for family of four. No TV remote which we did report and we did notice afterwards there were controls on the tv. The water was barely luke warm the first morning and we guess the gas had run out? Lovely warm shower the second morning. When looking for the remote I found a pair of mens underpants tucked down the bottom of the bed. There was precious little washing up liquid but was able to get some from daughter staying on camp site, and nothing to wipe tops with but again daughter had spare.

Great overnight location on coastal path walking holiday…simple place ( as described) clean functional and excellent vfm. Pub 5 mins drive down road (ancient Briton) was superb for evening meal

It’s as it says on the tin… nothing fancy. Kitchenette is a microwave fridge and sink so don’t get fancy cooking ideas. Be nice to have a better place to sit outside . But absolutely no complaints.. sound and effective for the price

Difficult to find - directions in Booking.Com sent us to a village 15 mins away. Poor Comms - lots of messages sent / calls made which went to voicemail with slow response Items missing - towels (provided) toilet paper (not provided)
