The bright lights in de restaurant, and the very loud music in de garden. I also found the portraits in the photoshopped portraits in the hallway very ugly. And als the lights in the bathroom were awfully bright

Good location next to sea.

Some rooms have machinery noise that can disturb sleep (rooms 27 and 28). The noise seems to come from extractor fans or Aircon chillers. The noise is noticeable even when the windows are closed. On a hot day, with windows open, the noise is even more noticeable. It impacted our sleep. When I brought this problem to the attention of the hotel management, they were dismissive. It took effort and time to resolve the problem (by changing rooms) but the hotel management’s attitude was strange. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and very occasionally a room may have external noise but this was the only time where I experienced a hotel management who were reluctant to admit it and solve it. Odd. For the prices that this hotel charges, I expected better facilities and better management.
