Everything was phenomenal including staff, management, breakfast. Views are off the charts stunning and facility is as beautiful and as modern as it gets while still maintaining the history of the region.

Este lugar é incrível! Não tivemos um único segundo de arrependimento pela nossa escolha. Tivemos a sorte de reservar o jantar no sábado no hotel, e essa experiência foi maravilhosa do início ao fim, única, um pouco surrealista no bom sentido - como num filme romântico. A viagem foi planeada para o meu aniversário e acabou por ser realmente perfeita. As janelas panorâmicas permitiam ver as estrelas no céu numa noite clara - nunca tinha visto tantas estrelas em novembro! A cama e as almofadas eram muito confortáveis. O pessoal era muito atencioso e prestável, tudo ao mais alto nível. Em geral, recomendo muito a região do Douro no outono!

Tudo estava perfeito, mas só para procurar imperfeições: - o Wi-fi era um pouco fraco, mas não foi um problema para nós. - a pressão do chuveiro às vezes era um pouco baixa, mas também não foi um problema, pois havia um chuveiro superior fantástico

Der Weg zum Objekt ist ein bisschen beschwerlich, aber das Haus, der Ausblick, das leckere Essen und das überaus freundliche Personal waren jeden Kilometer wert.

A beautiful location! Excellent views from the room through panoramic windows and from the garden. The combination of a small and quiet hotel and gastronomic kitchen is special. Congratulations to the very friendly owners who have created this treasure!

Great position. Nice walk into town (steep but good 1 hour walk)

Everything was lovely. We booked for dinner but perhaps we should have asked for the pricing in advance as we were on a limited budget and could not afford to really enjoy the beautiful food on offer.

This small but perfectly formed modern hotel is perched high on a hillside looking out across miles of the Doura Valley. Each of its three rooms offers excellent views, although I think the Fig room, where we were lucky enough to be placed, is probably the best of the three. The evening meal was pricey but worth it, if only to see our waiter expertly pour the local wine using the most elaborate and, if we were to buy one, easily breakable decanters I've ever seen.

The roads approaching the hotel can be a little challenging, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. Just don't be in too much of a rush to get there!

Everything about this property is simply extraordinary.

Nous avons passé une nuit incroyable dans cet hôtel. Marco et le personnel ont été aux petits soins avec nous et très serviables pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et les vues depuis l'hôtel et depuis notre chambre étaient magnifiques. Un lieu paisible pour une petite escapade en amoureux dans la vallée du Douro. Je recommande à 100% !!
