Off Grid Travel at Cambo Estate

Warm and cozy, well designed, some thoughtful touches. Loved having the extra info about the build. Location was fabulous as totally private and secluded, in the trees surrounded by birds (and a regular evening visit from a hare) yet looking out to the horizon, with not a soul in sight. Bliss

Absolutely lovely property in a very beautiful site. The wildflowers and birdsong were amazing. There are so many positive things to say about the bothy, not least its cleanliness and its comfort. Appreciated the dog extras, and the information about the bothy and the eco products beings used.

The property is quite unique and environmentally friendly. It’s is in a beautiful and peaceful location and gives you the chance to really get away from it all. The facilities are excellent with a lot of well thought out extras to support outdoor living such as barbecue, fire pit, hammock etc

A seemless arrival and departure with incredible seclusion with magnificent country side and walking options. The lovely touches of fairy lit walkway and teepee fire pit were a positive surprise. Incredibly comfortable and eco friendliness a major plus.

If you like cooking the paucity of sharp knives was a drawback

Everything about our stay was simply wonderful. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed — every detail has been so thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that is both stunning and incredibly peaceful. We stayed with our two toddlers, and it could not have been more perfect. They absolutely loved the off-grid adventure — sleeping in the spacious, cozy bunk beds, watching the bird feeders, exploring the surrounding woodlands, toasting marshmallows, and riding in the trolleys. It was magical to see how much joy such a simple, nature-filled experience brought them. The location is exceptional. With beautiful gardens just behind the wall, a gorgeous woodland walk leading to the beach, and a fantastic distillery within walking distance, there was so much to enjoy. We managed everything easily with a double pram, which made the whole weekend even more relaxing. Our stay was truly unforgettable. Fiona was incredibly kind and accommodating from the very first email, and the level of care and service was outstanding. We cannot recommend this place highly enough — we are already looking forward to returning.
