Casa Picon en Puerto del Carmen, con terraza, vistas al mar, piscina y junto a la playa

The apartment was a lovely size with everything needed. Nice distant views of the beach and a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy sunrise/sunset. The roof slides open in the centre of the apartment which is cool. Comfortable clean beds and towels. Good spacious bath rooms. 2 ensuite downstairs bedrooms I extra large king-size bed and second bedroom with large twin beds. Upstairs and where the entrance in is are a spacious kitchen and nice size lounge. The balcony has a table and seating. 5 minutes walk down (lots of steps) to the main strip in Puerto Del Carmen. There is free parking (couple of minutes walk) we stayed in November and fairly easy to park but had to park 10 minutes away one time so I would imagine very hit and miss in peak season!

Very difficult to find. The given location/directions were hopeless and the host didn't answer their phone or texts. Turns out there is a key box when you eventually find it! If you struggle to locate - it is actually in the Colony Club (which wasn't mentioned at all in the directions) if you walk up from the coastal strip area take the steps next to Lineker's bar almost to the top of the steps when you go through the archway it is the next steps on the left. The bathrooms had great showers but they need a deep clean both had small areas of mould on tiles and ceiling. The kitchen had everything needed and some but is a bit dated and could do with a deep clean. Don't be put off to stay though as it's still a good apartment, we only really had morning coffee and drinks in the fridge.

Difficult to find the property, Casa Picòn was not familiar to any of the taxi drivers. It should mention Colony Club. The area around the apartment needs cleaning up, painting etc. only 12 sun beds for all the apartments, most days there were no beds available

Apartment beautiful good beds plenty towels linen.very bright pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Huge spacious.

Outside needs an upgrade .painting etc.seating area had plaster falling on it took from the area.

Size and space

In much need of ugrading. Many floor tiles cracked, toilets had black mold in ceilings. Pool area was neglected no working showers, toilets had no paper or soap!!

Location , size of apartment, secure, balcony, view wardrobe space.

Communication with the property company before and during the stay was very poor. The twin bedroom door regularly stuck which meant climbing in through an internal window. It was reported but no one came to repair it. Fortunately we were two couples but I would have been very concerned if I had children staying there. The same bedroom only one very small pillow and one cushion. Neither had any covers on. We asked for more pillows and were told they didn’t have any. The main bedroom only had a sheet, and no other covers or blanket. Whilst the apartment was clean it had many cracked tiles, there was a trim missing from one step which was just thrown into the internal garden area. The patio door only locked via a hook. Fortunately the complex has locked gates which makes it less of a worry. The pool only had 10 sun beds for the whole complex which meant there were times you couldn’t get one. Most of the issues could have been easily remedied but we were left feeling the hosts just weren’t bothered once they had your money. This apartment has so much potential it’s a shame really.
