This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform The Cottages at Ivy Farm by Charles Alexander Short Stay in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 200 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. HOT TUB (COTTAGE 2 ONLY) Please note that if we have had a same day changeover, with guests checking out on the morning of your arrival, the hot tub may not be quite up to full temperature on your arrival. This is due to the hot tub being completely emptied, cleaned and re-filled for your health and safety. A deposit may be required at the property.

"We loved our stay but after the problem with this particular dog - it has put us off visiting again."

We have stayed there before. Clean, tidy had everything we needed.

The fact we had a shared garden and we both had dogs. Previously our dog gets on with others no problem. But on this one occasion the dog didn’t like ours and bared his teeth every time he saw her. The other owner did say he couldn’t trust his dog not to do this. But in fairness he tied it up so he couldn’t get at my dog. I do think if the garden wasn’t shared this wouldn’t have happened.

"It was adequate"

The property was in a quiet location

A lack of bedroom storage space in both bedrooms .we had to leave one case unpacked. No bathroom mirror in one bathroom. Cobwebs on beams in bathroom. More attention needed to cleanliness.

"Country cottage"

Myself and my friend had a 1 week stay in cottage 6.We really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and in a peaceful location. The cottage was exceptional and very cosy.

There wasn't anything we did not like.

"Perfect for a family trip"

It was a lovely peaceful location, lovely to have all the fields around us. The cottage had all we needed and was lovely and homely.

The only thing I'd have found useful would have been some local info on some local dog walking places closer by as felt I had to drive quite far to find places to take the dog.

"The cottage is beautiful in perfect spot for us near to the village and lytham we are definitely coming back"

The location was perfect for us Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay Loved the fact it had 2 bathrooms

Washing machine would have been great Also felt a little closed in in back garden
