Everything about the place oozed quality

Perfect for our get away from it all weekend. The cottage was perfect.

Needs a lamp in the living room so you don't have to use the 'big light'. My husband is 6ft 3ins and found the shower too low but I found the bath perfect .

Very modern and clean

Squeaky floor boards, no washing machine

Lovely quiet location , clean comfortable with everything you needed

Plenty of room downstairs with comfortable furniture. Well organised bedrooms for three generations and comfortable beds. Easy access to the coast and food shopping areas. Pleasant driveway for a walk with a pushchair.

Fridge far too small for six sharing particularly with a baby. Cooker and hob took for ever to heat up so not easy to make a quick meal after a day out. Could do with some drawer space in the second and third bedrooms.

We just spent 4 nights at the Ivy Cottages and it was absolutely perfect. We had two cottages as we were meeting family. Location is great, the cottages are modern, clean and fitted out with most things you need for a short stay (could do with a larger fridge/freezer as trying to store food was tricky). We loved having a BBQ and using the hot tub! We were extremely lucky to meet the owners who allowed our girls to help with the horses, and we will certainly miss Ronnie the farm dog, who was an absolute delight. We will be back again!

As mentioned above the fridge/freezers were tricky if a large family.

Very spacious, love how open plan it was. Back garden was amazing especially cause we have dogs.

Would suggested putting a stair gate on the stairs as there’s no dogs allowed upstairs, obviously it anew environment and dog will try and go upstairs hard to stop when there isn’t a gate.
