Sunshine Place St. Albans

Really nicely decorated and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. Great wi-fi - not sure why their own profile says there is none? Two convenience stores within 100yds.

Some of the stuff said in previous reviews about the first impressions from outside are understandable, but having stayed there I would stay again. Maybe more privacy with net curtains would be nice as you are on ground floor.

Cosy nice flat as described

Overall clean, but bathroom bit damp smelling and possibly need change of extractor as some places bit mouldy. Rest Kitchen and everything else clean. Some difficulty in finding the flat as behind main road, but after that convenient location for me.

Very comfortable and modern ground floor apartment with lovely furnishings. Like home from home.

The garden needs some attention. See photo. The seating area only consists on 3 chairs (we are a family of 5) and full of weeds. Also the Freeview kept losing signal, turned off and back on at the main socket both mornings but made no difference.

The parking

Spacious clean quiet location. Nice to also have an outdoor space to eat and relax. Equipped kitchen and bathroom toiletries provided. Responsive to any queries raised. About 25 minutes walk to central Station Alban's.

Lovely to have a morning coffee area outside. Very quiet street.

Parking was on a different street (not clear on the booking page on the website), and not accessible on arrival, meaning we had to park the first night on a private street. Landlord quickly rectified this the next morning though, and was very pleasant and friendly. There were 3 of us booked to stay and only 2 towels. After I got no response by text about this I gave up, unfortunately.
