Akwa a modern seaside gem

Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. A very spacious property with everything we needed with lovely views from the rear. Staithes was lovely and the property is close to main transport routes to the region. A helpful guide and packup was available along with clear instructions regarding check out.

It would have been better that as the parking is at the rear of the property so too should the key box for access on arrival.

Not applicable though there are some limited options in Staithes village.

It was as it said clean and comfy

They have an issue with damp on the stairs ..not terrible but it concerned my partner

Great location with the beach only a 10-15 minute walk and a small play park less than 5 minute walk. There is also a good Co-Op shop about 5 minutes walk away which sells everything you could possibly need. There is also property itself was clean and tidy with everything required for a short break. Beds were comfy with fresh bedding etc. Thankfully there were also large floor standing fans as it was really warm while we were there. There’s also parking at the rear of the property either on the back lane or in the garage. The host was excellent with quick, helpful communication. Can’t fault the property at all.

Avaliable parking space at the rear of the property, which is hard to find around Staithes. Very close to a local supermarket, a good fish and chip takeaway across the road. Close to a roadside cafe, local pub, and bus stops commuting to and from Whitby, Staithes & Saltburn. Walkable distance to Staithes harbour and village.

The stairs are a little narrow and steep. The handrail for the stairs needs fixing as it feels wobbly around the top. The water jet from the shower head could be stronger.
