The hotel was very comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by lovely gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was really lovely.

Loved the small size of the hotel and bedroom outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. Dinner outside on the terrace was superb.

The pool was not heated.

Amazing staff and very tranquil location! I would very much recommend the breakfast and the menu at night.

The rooms could do with a little update even though they’re very clean. A bit noisy too.

This small hotel is located on a leafy green countryside property in the heart of Perigord. We stayed 5 days and picked it because of its close proximity to sightseeing destinations, its 4-star amenities, and its free parking, which is hard to find in the towns. Our end room on the main floor was delightful. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was excellent at overcoming the unseasonably hot weather until it broke one night. Fortunately, the very capable hotel engineer was available to fix the problem immediately. Formidable! Dinner was available every night at the hotel restaurant and we ate there on two of our nights. The food was very good, especially the veloute soup courses, but perhaps a bit too traditional Perigourdine for our tastes. Breakfast was also good, with a choice of hot egg dishes to supplement the usual continental breakfast faire. The marinated prunes with cinnamon and cloves were particularly good on the yogurt. Aperitifs were available before or after dinner in the charming lounge. We did not have a chance to use the swimming pool but it was very popular with most of the guests. The ponies in the field next door were adorable!

The "shower" was a big clawfoot bathtub with a hand-held shower nozzle and no waterproof shower curtain (??!!). In order to get wet without soaking the bathroom, it was necessary to actually sit in the bathtub while holding the shower nozzle. Performing this maneuver was quite a challenge for us 70-year-old Americans. A full waterproof shower curtain that fit inside the bathtub would have been much appreciated!

One of the nicest place we ever be! All is wonderful , the entery domaine, the room and the food were perfect The stuff really kind and proffessional Go there - it is a really paradise!

Nothing it is exceptional

The hotel exceeded all expectations. It was beautifully situated in the middle of nature, fully equipped with all possible facilities and with an excellent restaurant. The staff were discreet and efficient but very friendly. There was a restrained yet intimate atmosphere.

The hotel is not the cheapest, but it is well worth its price.

Excellent staff, high standards for decor, food and facilities.
