If you love total isolation then this is the right place. Wonderfully isolated 'in the middle of nowhere'. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help if necessary.

Restaurant is good, but it's pretty basic food. Prices are very reasonable. No haute cuisine here! Very nice outdoor swimming pool. Just a pity it is not heated.

A stunning spot and lovely hotel facility in the French countryside, ideally placed for excursions to nearby Perigeux and other parts of the Dordogne.

Lovely old Manor House set in beautiful grounds with a large pool and outdoor terrace.

Our room was nice if small though the beam in the middle of the room and the cupboard where we banged our head every time we opened it were hazhardous! Dinner was good though not great for the price we paid

Very small claustrophobic area where bed was placed Beautiful spacious bathroom but no where to put soap of shampoo in the shower .reception staff were very helpful in planning of route

Breakfast was fine, although the poached eggs had too much vinegar in the water. Room was great. Swimming pool was good.

Dinner was overpriced for the quality of food. Starter was a mousse of langoustines wrapped in smoked salmon. Mousse was OK, but the smoked salmon was cut too thick and needed lemon juice which was not provided. This may be a British thing but it was at best OK. Main course was a trio of seafood on a bed of leeks in some kind of sauce. The fish and scallops were really good but the sauce on the leeks was too creamy and claggy and tasted too sweet. I could have done better myself.

bathroom had too many different floor levels very dangerous at night. shower over bath had no stable fixing to the wall and was too low for comfort.
