Mini-studio by HNFC Stays

Breakfast was not an option. The location was great and it was a bonus to be near Morrisons and the restaurants on Ocean Road. HNFC were very responsive in answering queries and responding to issues.

The very steep stairs leading up to the apartment. There was no bedroom lamp and I had to use the ceiling lights. There was a rickety shelf in the toilet which was attached to the wall with 2 screws and looked like it might fall down at any time. The toilet flush was temperamental.No rugs in the bedroom. Washing of breakfast dishes had to be done in the bathroom sink which did not feel very hygienic and there was nowhere to drain the dishes.The unit for storing and hanging clothes was very rickety. The anwful experience was the mattress which is the worse I have ever slept on. Surely, a comfortable mattress should meet high standards in a hotel or Airbnb? This one felt very old, worn and too soft. The awful thing about it was that the spring coils pressed into my skin when I was trying to sleep and pinged when I turned over in my sleep. I have osteoarthritis and this was a dreadful experience for my condition, resulting in two sleepless nights. I had booked for 4 nights and was going to leave after 2 unless something was done about the mattress. Fortunately, HNFC was very understanding and responsive and bought me a mattress topper for the last two nights I was there which made sleeping bearable. They shouldn’t have had to do that if there had been decent bedding in the first place.

Everything you can need in the room is available. Information regarding security deposit should be clearer but will 100% be using again and recommending to friends and family

Stairs are very steep but to be expected in old terraces like south shields. Wonderful to supply tea and coffee

Loved that the bath was were it was lovley clean and everything was lovley amazing for money

I loved how the tv is opposite the bed, could watch movies with good volume, clean and tidy place, 10 mins away from beach

Lovely room great value for money and helpfull staff. Bath is a wonderful luxurious feature. Will definitely be staying again

The room was immaculate and super cosy! The Bath was an added bonus and Having use of Netflix too for my son. Would most definitely return:)
