The host was very nice and friendly. They kept the luggage for us. The dinner was really tasty too! The room was so clean and the view is fantastic.

Rudi and Claudia were brilliant hosts, and people to stay with. The bed was super comfortable. We did a day tour with Rudi around all the area, and it was brilliant. Rudi is very passionate about Incan culture we found out, lots of information. So worth doing. They were very helpful sorting out late transport etc. Luv to return to see the completed structures.. saunas etc. thank you both for really great stay xxx

It was a wonderful experience. We were served freshly prepared dinner at a cost and free breakfast. Location is beautiful!

The bathrooms lack privacy, so that was inconvenient.

Very nice facilities but got ripped off and charged 40% more for a second guest due to a technical issue with the booking. They also charge 6.5% extra for PayPal of you don’t have cash, which is also not stated in the booking.

We really loved the property and Rudi and Claudia were exceptional hosts, they really helped us feel like we were part of the family. We enjoyed our morning breakfast, so delicious & we had dinner one evening at the lodge which was exceptional! The view from our room was amazing, we loved listening to the river, so relaxing! We loved Max & Tupac...dog & llama that thinks he's a dog ;) We appreciated how they handled our luggage while we were away for a few days. They were so helpful with getting taxi rides and they even did some of our laundry! We would highly recommend staying at the Spirit of the River Lodge!

The street is very tight, just be aware it can be difficult to find.

Nestled in the Sacred Valley this hotel is the best Peruvian hospitality in the area. Rudi , Claudia and their daughter are so kind and treat each guest like family. Rudi communicated with me before I left and set all my hikes up. The personalized tours Rudi gave me were the highlight of my trip. The grounds are stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Claudia cooks the most delicious breakfast and dinner upon request. A spa and yoga studio with exceptional massages are offered. Many memories were made for the trip of a lifetime with Rudi and Claudia’s hospitality. Thank you for making 5 days with you so amazing. This hotel is the place to stay in the Sacred Valley. It’s is easy access to Machu Picchu, Urubamba and other towns. Five stars for this hotel.

Very cozy, clean and comfortable with great amenities like tea, coffee and good breakfast making the stay more pleasant . The llama Tupac in the garden is so beautiful to see in the morning. The view of the mountains from your room is very beautiful..

The comfort and the view the place is beautiful. The hot shower was so nice! We celebrated my mother’s birthday. Claudia and Rudy prepared a nice dinner making her day so special! Thank you for all the kindness and love

Everything was great.

The staff was excellent. Room was nice. Food was tasty.

Property was not nearly as beautiful as in the pictures. Location was down a narrow dirt road. Nothing nearby. They only take cash so make sure you have enough with you. They cook you your meals. No choice of what to eat and only cooked at certain times. Shower took at least 15 minutes to heat up.
