Simple and lovely, warm and comfy, felt like a home from home

If I was to find negatives, it would be the bedding- That’s only because I prefer to sleep in cotton, and this was a poly/cotton mix on the main bed. That’s the only negative I can give, and I feel tight doing that ! But everything else was grand

standard of cleanliness was poor - see photos poo smeared on toilet paper, sausage found in twin room and what looks like bird poo on a cloth on the dining table, made the whole place feel dirty. when reporting this to owner and how it made us feel they replied 'Sorry you feel this way, I've had no other issues before and people glad they stayed' - what has other peoples experiences got to do with what we had to deal with? whole family not happy and would not book this again !

Beautiful setting, peaceful and great for “adventures” for young kids

Check in time was really late. Owner did offer an earlier check in for extra charge but felt 4pm was a bit late for a midweek entry
