Windermere lodge,sleeps 6

It was huge and super comfortable, complete with everything you need in a home away from home. The hosts were also very attentive and responsive and easy to communicate with.

Expected the toilet to be a little bit cleaner since there were rave reviews about its cleanliness. But not a deal-breaker so it was okay

Absolutely nothing. It was a rude shock

Property was not clean at all. The bed linen was so wrinkled - reflecting that it had not been changed . Store photos attached - reflecting the quality of hygiene. Infact we paid for 2 days and checked out in a day given the hygiene condition.

Location, right by Lake Windermere and in close proximity to Ambleside and Windermere. The lodge was clean, and had almost everything you needed to stay as if it were home from home. 2 parking spaces, toiletries, dishwasher and washing machine as well as microwave and fridge freezer. I would come back again if it were available so that says a lot. The site also had a little shop and cafe if you wanted any little bits or to eat out onsite or have a drink. The hosts gave me their numbers if I needed anything which was really helpful. Nice walks to the lakeside on site.

Nothing that I didn't like as I knew the internet and signal could be problematic. I would say that to make it better I would have put a tablecloth in so the glass didn't get marked so much. A pair of kitchen tongs and a large spoon would have been a great help and a kitchen cloth and some kitchen roll would have been helpful.

Clean, comfortable and Quiet. Loved having dinner on the outside deck.

Wifi connection is poor in this area.

The wasn’t anything I disliked, the WiFi was abit hit and miss but what would u expect in the woods

The lodge was lovely and very comfy and very roomy could not fault it a tall . We would go there again , Sonia was so very helpful . The lodge and site was excellent could not ask for anything more .
