Villa Albizia, Chiang Mai

Beautiful garden, attentive and kind service, super clean living areas and rooms, location is quiet but plenty to of great food options and excursions nearby.

Unglaublich schöner Garten, herrlicher Pool, geräumige, blitzsaubere Zimmer, Erlebnisdusche mit sehr hohem Wasserdruck, bequeme Betten und Jim der perfekte Gastgeber. Für uns war es wie im Paradis.

Umgeben von Reisfeldern und Obstplantagen liegt dieses kleine Idyll mit paradiesischem Garten und traumhaftem Pool abseits des Rummels. Jim, der Gastgeber begrüßte uns mit frischen Früchten und selbstgemachten Getränken! In seiner wunderschönen Villa schafft er eine angenehme und entspannende Atmosphäre. Jim ist sehr professionell, unaufdringlich und dennoch außerordentlich hilfsbereit und gab uns täglich Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants (Pi Rat und Sorn‘s sind unsere Favoriten)! Weiters waren die Fahrräder, die von der Unterkunft gratis zur Verfügung gestellt werden sehr hilfreich, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir durften hier das beste Frühstück und die schönste Unterkunft mit einem sehr familiären Flair genießen. Uns fehlt glatt die Worte. Es gibt nur drei Zimmer. Es war der perfekte Einstieg für unsere Thailand-Reise. Danke an das gesamte Team (den Gärter, die Maid, den Besitzer Jim & die Hunde Matoom und Lilly)!

Villa Albizia is a serene B&B outside the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. Set in a magnificent fruit garden, the rooms are large, comfortable and have everything you need to feel at home. The host, Jim, is fabulous and makes you feel like family. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, wellness and nature sites in the areas as well as helped us rent a motorbike for the week. He also took great care to ensure we had dinner plans and offered to drive us to a local restaurant if needed. He is also so great to talk to and an amazing cook. Breakfast was delicious and included his homemade yogurt and jam. We absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to leave. We hope to come back in the future!

This is by far the best stay we had through booking this year. I was wondering how a bed & breakfast can have such a high rating and now I understand. This place is absolute luxury if you’re looking for peace, Thai perfect hospitality and a real human experience. Jim is a real master host, looking after his guests with such care. He always had good tips and advices for any activities/plans we had, and knows the area very well to recommend about anything one might need ! We booked our scooter through him to a local vendor and it was very cheap and efficient. He took my husband by car to the shop which was very convenient. We also easily used Grab to go to the city or few places a bit further than the neighbourhood, we had no issues booking cars. Breakfast is superb, a lot of homemade products. We also had a lots of snacks and even tried some flowers from the garden with Jim ! Our four years old was blown away by the stay and loved every part of the house. We were there on Christmas Eve and even got surprised with a delicious « bûche de Noel » in the evening ! The property is beautiful, with a huge garden to explore, a peaceful large pool. The whole place is in my opinion at a hotel level in term of amenities (pool towels, daily cleaning, mini fridge, etc…). It’s a very high standing 3 rooms b&b, if you’re into the luxury of privacy and serenity. Jim offered many times to drive us to places, prepared a table for us one night we decided to get food delivered, etc… You will be in the hand of the best host in Northern Thailand ! I rarely see the point of giving a 10/10 but I can’t see any reason not to for this little paradise. We hope to be back as soon as we can !

Great place for a short quiet countryside stay. Excellent attentive service. With lovely surrounding villages and countryside.

It was just as perfect as a stay can be - my girlfriend and me would say it was the most beautiful and welcoming hotel we ever stayed in our lifes.🤗 Jim, the owner, is such a lovely person and makes you feel at home right from the start. He would drive you to the bus station, the motor bike rental, restaurants etc. and bring you snacks or drinks without being asked once ❤️ The 2 dogs are lovely and property out of a movie. We didn't want to leave, especially as the surrounding is so beautiful and full of warm people and "the real Thailand". If you ever get the chance to stay at Jim's house, don't hesitate! Thanks so much, Jim! We will definitely come back soon 😊

Ich kann mich den überschwänglichen Bewertungen voll und ganz anschliessen. Jim ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber in einer aussergewöhnlichen Villa mit traumhaftem Garten: Aufmerksam und doch diskret, hilfsbereit und auf jedes Detail achtend, immer wieder für eine kleine Überraschung gut. Er lebt die Perfektion der thailändischen Gastfreundschaft. Die gratis zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrräder eignen sich bestens für das Erkunden der ruhigen, von Reisfeldern dominierten Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind am Abend nur wenige Restaurants geöffnet (Sorn's ist eine gute Adresse); in Doi Saket, auf der anderen Seite des Highway 118, ist die Auswahl grösser (mit dem Fahrrad gut erreichbar).

De tuin is erg mooi. Er heerst veel rust en is een mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken. Het is erg schoon.
