Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Albizia. Jim ist ein toller Gastgeber und wir haben die Zeit mit ihm und seinen Hunden sehr genossen. Das Haus, der Garten und die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zu Detail gestaltet. Der perfekte Ort zum runterkommen. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Chiang Mai (was für uns positiv war), das Stadtzentrum ist dennoch gut mit dem Roller oder Taxi erreichbar. Zu guter Letzt hat Jim uns noch aus der Patsche geholfen als wir ein Problem mit unserem Roller hatten.

Villa Albizia is a wonderful, calm space with a unique green nature scenery. The host Jim is simply unique, he treats every guest exceptionally welcoming and addressing every individual need. We felt like home, exploring and relaxing at the beautiful Villa Albizia, with a stunning view over rice fields and nature.

Jim der Gastgeber ist großartig. Er ist sehr aufmerksam und erklärt alles. Er hat uns sofort ein Motorroller und eine Sim Karte besorgt. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Und wer einen ruhigen Aufenthalt zur Entspannung möchte, ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Sticky Waterfalls sind gut mit dem Roller zu erreichen. Es war wundervoll. Der Pool und der Garten sind sehr schön angelegt. Und die zwei Hunde sind toll. Immer gerne wieder.

Wenn man überhaupt irgendwas beanstanden kann, dann dass die Betten ein wenig hart sind. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.

We booked our stay at the villa because of the many positive reviews. We were 100% satisfied with our stay at this lovely guesthouse. The garden is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained – a perfect place to sit, relax or swim in the pool. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care every morning. The service was outstanding. Our host was extremely attentive and kind, always making sure we had everything we needed. He even took us to the Lantern Festival and bought us a lantern himself. We truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful atmosphere, excellent service, and genuine hospitality.

The villa was over looking a wonderfull garden, we awoke to birds singing every morning, a grea place to relax and recharge. Jim the host was wonderful going out of his way to look after us, breakfast each day was delicious, and Jim recommended several great local restaurants for us to visit. We cannot recommend this place more highly, a true tastes of Thai hospitality!!!

We stayed at Villa Albizia for 4 nights as a couple and absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by an amazing garden that feels like a little oasis. The pool area is fantastic — perfect for relaxing after exploring Chiang Mai. Jim, the host, was wonderful — very welcoming, helpful, and he makes a delicious homemade breakfast every morning. His two friendly dogs were such a lovely addition and made us feel right at home. The villa is located a bit outside of downtown Chiang Mai, which makes it quiet and relaxing. There’s a big new 7-Eleven nearby and a lovely lady in front of it who does excellent laundry. There are also great local food spots and beautiful landscapes in the area — Jim can give you all the best recommendations. We highly recommend renting a car to explore the surroundings easily. We’d definitely stay here again — highly recommended!

Wir sind dort angekommen und haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Jim begrüßte uns warm und herzlich. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Das Frühstück war das Beste was wir bisher hier in Thailand bekommen haben, mit selbstgemachten Marmelade, Jogurt und lecker Früchten. Jim brachte uns abends zu den Restaurants und holte uns auch wieder ab. Wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben Und können diesr Villa nur empfehlen.

Alles war toll

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Jim! His charming little house is set right in the middle of nature, with only three rooms, which makes it feel very personal and peaceful. Jim is an amazing host – incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely dedicated to making his guests feel comfortable. Every morning he prepared a lovely breakfast with so much attention to detail: yogurt, muesli, homemade jam, fresh juice, and fruit – the perfect start to the day. Jim truly goes above and beyond for his guests. He gave us great local tips, answered all our questions, and since there were no other guests during our stay, he even offered to drive us to a nearby restaurant one evening – such a thoughtful gesture! The location is a bit remote, so there aren’t too many restaurants or shops around, but that’s part of its charm – you’re surrounded by beautiful, peaceful nature. Another highlight was Jim’s two wonderful, well-behaved dogs. As an animal lover, I absolutely loved having them around – they made the stay feel even more homely and warm. All in all, we felt so comfortable and welcome with Jim and his lovely dogs. Highly recommended – a true hidden gem in nature! 🐾💚

Villa Albizia is an amazing stay which I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai. It’s a beautifully designed villa in the middle of a beautiful garden surrounded by nature. Jim, your host at the villa, is a very thoughtful and helpful host. He gave us many tips for restaurants and things to do both in the area of the Villa and in Chiang Mai itself. Nothing was too much for him. One night he even drove us to a restaurant nearby and picked us up again! For those wondering about the location, it’s a 20-30min drive from Chiang Mai centre but it’s never an issue to get a grab to and from the Villa! If you’re reading this, highly recommended.
