"Beautiful island stay."

9.0

We really enjoyed our stay, this island is so beautiful and the staff are absolutely lovely and very accommodating. We enjoyed all of the food we ate here, especially the barracuda they sourced for us! It’s a pretty rustic place but that’s all part of the joy of island living! Would recommend being prepared and bringing some snacks, bug spray, head torch etc from the mainland. This place is amazing value, would definitely recommend!

"Lovely stay"

7.0

Overall we had a really lovely stay. The resort is placed right on the beach and it’s possible to trek through the jungle to get to other parts. There’s plenty of hammocks to relax in, beach volley, boat trips and even microphones ready for a karaoke night! The food was also nice, a little expensive but you’re on a remote island so it’s to be expected. There’s quite the amount of trash on the beach, but if you fill up a bag of trash, you can get a drink! So win-win.

It got really warm during the night, as they turn of electricity during the night resulting in no fan. We stayed at the dorms, and it seems like there was a mistake with the room options on booking. It says “double bed when booking” but apparently it was a single (bunk)bed for one person. But we just talked to them and we got the double bed in dorm for 8$ per night. So make sure to double check the booking, and just message them if you’re confused. Also there was a little misunderstanding about free breakfast, as (once again) booking.com mentioned free breakfast which should not have been free. However, the staff was lovely and still provided it to us. So all misunderstandings (mainly caused by wrong information on booking.com) was quickly resolved!

"One of the best places i've stayed at in my travels! Loved every minute"

10.0

Definitely check this out!! The atmosphere there is like nowhere else. Chilling all day long, swimming at beautiful beaches, going on hikes trough untouched jungle, snorkeling, cliff jumping, whatever your heart desires. Far away from the mainland's civilization, no shops, not many people on the whole island gives you peace you can't imagine. And if you're in the mood, happy hour at 3pm or the boat tours are always a blast!! you do need to be fine with going back to basics, you are on an island near the jungle, so animals, few technology etc are a part, in my opinion for sure a charming one tho:) prices are the cheapest on the whole island, the staff is amazing!! Max the manager is always there for you and for sure became a friend, the volunteers are always in a good chill mood, the Cambodian staff loves to joke around and have fun i loved the place and found a family there:) if that sounds like your thing do not miss out on this amazing place!!!!

too many good vibes, made me miss the crowded loud dirty cities

"Perfect not super touristy island chill"

10.0

The island itself is truly a hidden gem amongst the south Cambodian touristy islands. It’s a secret getaway with fine sandy beaches, a rich, deep jungle and all around kind and friendly guests and staff. The equipments were quite basic, which was fine though, since most of the time spent was either in a hammock or in the warm ocean water.

Everything was perfect but maybe bring some snacks for in between the meals :)
