Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa-Deluxe All Inclusive

We came to the Maldives with extremely high expectations, and somehow this resort managed to exceed every single one of them. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Our villa with a private pool and direct access to the sea was absolutely stunning and became the perfect home for our family during our stay. The food was incredible throughout the entire trip — genuinely, every meal felt special. A special mention goes to Asiatique and Amazonico, which were unforgettable dining experiences for us. The beach bar also became our favorite lunch spot each day. Highlights included the beautiful house reef, where our family snorkeled with turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks, and countless colorful fish — truly a magical experience. One of the things we loved most was exploring the island by bike. It added such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to every day. At the same time, the staff always went above and beyond to make things easy for us. Sid in particular took amazing care of us, always making sure we had a golf cart whenever the weather was not ideal or when our daughter needed extra support. He made our stay effortless and ensured everything we needed was smoothly arranged. What truly made this place unforgettable, though, was the people. From our sommelier Chris to the wonderful teams across the bars and restaurants — including Meraj, Nitin, Samah, Pawan, Vikas, and many others — every interaction felt genuine, warm, and personal. The level of hospitality was extraordinary and made us feel truly cared for throughout the stay. We are incredibly grateful for such a memorable experience and would return without hesitation.

We preferred the beach and views facing North.

Everything was beautiful — the resort, the staff, and the food. What impressed me the most was the perfect balance between privacy and attention to detail. You never feel disturbed, yet at the same time you always feel genuinely cared for. Our stay at Emerald Maldives was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. The service from every staff member was outstanding — we were truly spoilt throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and beautifully maintained. The food was plentiful and of consistently high quality. The hospitality is what sets Emerald apart, and made our entire experience unforgettable. A very special mention to Wisham, our butler, who was exceptional in his care and attention throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and truly made our experience even more memorable. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already wanting to return.

The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white sandy beaches, and beautifully designed villas that offer both comfort and privacy. Every part of the island feels peaceful and luxurious, making it the perfect destination for relaxation and creating unforgettable memories. One of the highlights of our experience was the incredible level of service provided by the staff, especially Shafi. He went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect for us. Shafi was always friendly, professional, and attentive, and his positive attitude truly made a difference in our experience. No matter what we needed, he was always ready to help with a smile and genuine care. His kindness, patience, and willingness to assist made us feel valued and extremely well looked after from beginning to end. Shafi’s helpful nature stood out in every interaction. He provided excellent recommendations for activities, dining options, and excursions around the resort, ensuring we made the most of our vacation. Whether arranging special requests, helping with transportation, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, he consistently demonstrated exceptional hospitality and dedication. It is rare to meet someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely cares about guests having an amazing experience. The dining experience at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa was another major highlight. The variety and quality of food were exceptional, with every restaurant offering delicious dishes prepared with care and creativity. From fresh seafood to international cuisine, every meal was a delight.

We cannot fault our experience at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, from the moment we landed in Male and go to departures everything was taken care of, we were met by a representative from the resort who escorted us through check in and to the lounge ahead of our seaplane departure. Once we landed on the island it was like walking into an episode of White Lotus, lots of the staff were there to greet us, offering welcome drinks and playing music each taking the time to greet us. A golf buggy awaited with our names attached and we met our Villa Host Wisham who then gave us a tour of the island. We can hand on heart say we have never had such a relaxing holiday in our lives, we were there to celebrate our honeymoon and the staff went out of their way to ensure they made the stay extra special. Wisham our Villa Host arranged a complimentary couples massage, honeymoon dinner on the beach, champagne and fruit basket in our room on arrival, along with a surprise floating breakfast in our villa pool and decoration of our bath and bed which was so beautifully implemented by our villa housekeeper Shuaib. Wisham informed us when we arrived that he had booked us dinner each night for thoughtfully planning this so we experienced as much as possible in ten nights with everything from a gala dinner at the Aqua restaurant to teppanyaki at Le Asiatique Restaurant and the honeymoon dinner on the beach as mentioned. Any changes we requested were swiftly made and Wisham was available throughout our stay for anything at all we needed, we would simply WhatsApp him and within literally five minutes our query would be resolved from booking our two complimentary excursions dolphin watching and fishing to booking us a complimentary photoshoot and viewing session afterwards. He went above and beyond picking us up from our villa every evening to drop us at dinner and ensuring the minibar was restocked with the drinks we preferred.

There’s nothing to dislike about this resort!

Nossa experiência foi simplesmente incrível. Tudo foi perfeito do início ao fim. O Shafi nos recebeu com muito carinho e atenção e esteve presente durante toda a hospedagem, sempre prestativo e cuidadoso em cada detalhe. Toda a equipe do resort — restaurantes, bares, recepção, farmácia e serviços gerais — foi extremamente atenciosa e acolhedora. Uma equipe realmente sensacional. Estávamos em lua de mel e fomos surpreendidos várias vezes com mimos e experiências especiais que tornaram nossa estadia ainda mais inesquecível.

The villas were exceptionally well built and equiped - one can stay there for the full day. Compared with the other two hotels we visited it was the main advantage. Villa host was great (Sid) and helped to balance some negative moments with additional services - it helpes to stay relaxed. If it is the policy of the hotel, it works.

Pricing for massage and water activities. When you calculate the final price with taxes it is more expensive than elsewhere. And the massage is not really to be recommended. The transfer back to the airport was a nightmare. We almost missed our flight. On the way back the airline collects the guests from the second Emerald hotel and it takes time.
