Edinburgh Meadowbank 1-Bedroom Flat

Everything was so clean and the location was excellent

I really enjoyed staying at this flat in Meadowbank while visiting Edinburgh. It was very well equipped, comfy, located next to a lot of bus lines, and walking distance to many interesting places. I loved that there were a few really delicious restaurants nearby at a variety of price ranges, as well as a grocery store. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

Good location. Meadowbank shopping centre very close by. Bed & sofabed were both comfy. Microwave was good. Host responded quickly & helpfully. Very comfy slippers provided as shoes were not to be worn in the flat.

Not many dishes provided. 'Cooker' was a single ceramic hotplate & I couldn't get it to work. A table & stools/chairs would have been useful in the living room, instead of the small set of drawers in the window space.

Our host was incredibly friendly. And thoughtful. Went above and beyond any expectations. The location was right by a bus stop, but not too close it was noisy. It’s location to Arthur’s Seat was why we picked it, but we’d totally go back.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, felt kinda like a futon mattress, but that seems to be the trend in all of Scotland.
