Das Hotel liegt am Berghang und ist von einem sehr schönen Garten umgeben. Vom Zimmer hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick auf die umliegenden Teeplantagen. Das Konzept der Anlage an sich ist durchaus gut. Das Essen war gut, der Koch hat sich viel Mühe gegeben.

Besonders die Zimmer bedürfen einer Renovierung. Da wir gegen Ende der Monsunzeit dort waren, war es eher feucht und kühl im Zimmer und nicht sehr gemütlich.

Review for Hotel Tea Valley – Very Disappointing Experience I recently visited Hotel Tea Valley with a group of 20 people, including families and children, for what we hoped would be a relaxing staycation. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had. Family-Unfriendly Atmosphere: Despite being advertised as a serene and welcoming resort, this place is not at all family-friendly. The staff showed no consideration for the fact that we had children in our group, and their behavior was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Misleading Photos: The photos shown online do not reflect the actual condition of the property. We felt completely misled – the real location looked very different and lacked the charm or amenities that were promised in the pictures. Poor Hospitality: Hospitality was shockingly poor. The staff were uncooperative and at times even hostile. Instead of offering help or understanding, especially given we were a large group with children, they scolded and threatened us over minor delays. Overpriced and Excluded Food: Another major letdown was that food was not included. Even breakfast wasn’t complimentary, which is highly unusual for resorts like this. On top of that, the food was extremely overpriced for what was served – not worth it at all. Unjust Charges for Pickup/Drop-Off: This is the first time I’ve encountered a resort charging for pickup and drop-off (₹400 per jeep). In all my past staycations, this service has always been complimentary. Here, it felt like they were trying to squeeze extra charges out of us for everything. Check-Out Harassment: They insisted on an 11 AM checkout even though most resorts allow till 2 PM. When we got slightly delayed (just 15 minutes) due to managing kids, the staff began threatening us, saying they’d leave without us if we didn’t hurry up. This was completely uncalled for and unprofessional, especially given we were paying guests.
