GBGBGBIt had an old world charm. The accommodation was clean and tidy. Breakfast and Dinner were presented well and tasted delicious.
A lot of neighbouring pubs were decorated for Christmas and looked very inviting- this pub wasn’t decorated and, in comparison, did not look inviting!

GBRoom was lovely, , nice and clean, bed comfortable. Woman in charge was lovely, had food in evening which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was fab too.
Only complaint was the sound proofing. We could hear people talking next door and could hear the toilet flushing from upstairs.
GBWe had booked a dog friendly room downstairs and a further room upstairs for our son. Rooms had everything you needed. Our room opened up onto small patio area with a larger grassed area to run the dogs which was perfect. Rooms functional, spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable. Spent the evening in the pub playing darts and cards with our son, great local atmosphere which is always good to see. We ordered food, very good and the staff were kind enough to tweak a menu.option for me as I was on a restricted diet that weekend. Very quiet location, lovely village. Thank you for a great stay!
Nothing we didn't like. A few other reviews had mentioned the shower was small, yes it is, but for just a night or too it really wouldn't be an issue. And the water pressure is amazing so a good shower.
GBAmazing place with impressive views, spacious car par, comfortable and clean room with perfect on suit bathroom. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is perfect for couples, weekend away alone or in small groups. Ideal for walking and exploring. Town has small grocery shops and a fish&chips as well as 3 pubs to spoil your pallett after a hard day on the mountains. Easy to find and very rustique but well maintained and equipped building. The plentiful and very tasty breakfast prepared with love is being accompanied by amazing views over the greens and beyond. I could only recommend it to everyone who likes exploring and having a restful place to rejuvenate.

Bedroom in need of an upgrade.
GBThe room itself was clean and had everything we needed. Tea and coffee making facilities, TV, toiletries provided too. The beds were really comfortable and our view outside towards the hills was beautiful. We had our evening meal there which was lovely - a basic menu but perfect pub food, no complaints at all. Breakfast was excellent too; we all had a full English with extras and drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s clear that they work hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. We’ll hopefully return!
