GBGBGBHighly recommended. Very comfortable accommodation on ground floor with doors of room opening to outside table & chairs. Shower had very good water pressure. Towels were of good quality and the supply of face cloths is always a good sign of extra effort. Good choice of breakfast options and freshly cooked. View of local countryside from breakfast dining area was a very good start to the morning. The owners of the pub were very friendly and made us feel very much at home.
The shower fittings could be updated.
GBSamantha, Richard and Laura were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were excellent and we dined on two evenings and the food was very good too. Good outside seating area at the back to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink. The location was a very good base for the walks we wanted to do and close to numerous towns to visit. Fresh towels in the room every day. Large car park at the front.
Very small quite dated shower in comparison to the bathroom, you have to step up 12 inches to get in to the shower and once you have managed to climb in its only 2 foot square, there is nowhere to put your shower gel or shampoo apart from the floor. It's very difficult to actually turn the shower on and off you need to use both hands to turn the water on.
