Jaw-Dropping Lodge with Hot Tub on Lake Windermere

Very spacious, great location,

hot tub, location, good value for money

damp smell in bathroom, uncomfortable mattress in master, no light on steps out the front

The location was fantastic, the view outstanding, hot tub relaxing, parking, accommodation excellent, just stunning, and the Hosts were so helpful, clean tidy comfortable stay, in a beautiful location, what more could you ask for, 100% recommend for anyone, Families, couples, you will not be disappointed Thanks for the wonderful 4 days Mr Crane ❤️

We have been disappointed with the property and had to leave early. The location is amazing and the property has all the necessary facilities, however upon entering the place smelled old and musty (wouldn’t go away even with airing it out). The sofas in the lounge area also have a smell and were not comfortable to seat on. Main bed was very small for a couple and both mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Also pee smell in the main bathroom

Great location

Me and my partner had just got married the Day before and was looking for a little get away before our honey moon so we booked this lodge how ever on arrival. We were told the boiler was broken by the cleaner. The electric heater was also broken so the property was very cold and the hot tub was also cold. We spent the majority of the day on the phone to booking.com going backwards and forwards between customer service and the owner. Getting no where. In the end we were told by a man working for booking.com to cheer up and said things could be worse. We were finally told that we could have a refund from the property owner how ever it has now been over a week and neither the owner or booking.com have gave any refund. The owners seemed really nice and. Helpful on the phone how ever booking.com keep telling me they have not had confirmation off the owners to send the refund. I’m not normally one to leave a negative review how ever this is more aimed towards the booking.com customer service rather than the owners.

Property was lovely , loved the location the hot tub was great , overall apart from a leak it was great and I would definitely return 😊👍

Unfortunately a very unpleasant smell in one bedroom due to a leaking radiator throughout our stay , but the owner did send a plumber and it appeared to be fixed ,but then we found it was still leaking unfortunately .

Nice area of the camp, not at the front but not far off.

Few small easily fixable things, directions to the lodge when on site. Simply lodge number and area on site would have been enough. We never received any details. Also mop and bucket and a brush for patio, like I said small but helpful details.
