Be Grand is well-located & we loved the views over the city from the 30th (?) floor, having everything - a market, downtown area, restaurants & cafes - close by. The rooms were spacious, clean & well-appointed. Weird not to have a clothes dryer or drying rack when there's a washing machine, but clothes on hangers dried ok. There were no room temperature controls, so a bit chilly with the tiled floor, but there's a bar heater & blankets for the beds. The indoor pool & spa & the gym looked good & popular, with lots of lounges around the pool for down time, but we didn't get to use them. Access with a QR code & pin-code door lock is super easy, with a staff member on the ground floor during the day to help with questions & welcome us on arrival.

Pre arrival communication with Be Grand was incredibly frustrating ... switching from WhatsApp to Booking.com & back again, bouncing between conversations with central reservations & Be Grand directly. Auto-generated messages were redundant & repetitive. Confirmation & re-confirmation of bookings & airport transfers - because of the different staff & auto-generated messages - drove me nuts for weeks prior to arrival. If I hadn't pre-paid everything I probably would have cancelled the booking ... proving I'd paid for airport transfers weeks after payment shouldn't have been necessary when payment had been made directly via their online form. Everything worked out brilliantly after arrival - though we still received random auto-generated messages during our stay as we had 2 consecutive room bookings, so we got the "you're checking out" & "you're arriving" messages unnecessarily & duplicated. Guessing communications & payment records will be ironed out eventually & the staff member based at Be Grand was sympathetic, understanding & helpful.

A little difficult to enter. Quite a few times I had to show the security guards our confirmation email. There should be an easier system.

Very responsive host, central location with a nice view

The studio itself was very comfortable, with everything you need for a few days stay. Great views overlooking the city.

We booked the studio last minute, provided all the necessary information, but were left outside in the freezing cold, as no one had sent the QR code to access the building. The security guard eventually let us sit in the lobby, but the lady we were speaking to online about receiving our guest past left us waiting almost 2 hours. We finally got into our room past midnight.
