Ninh Binh Kong's Homestay

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, special mention to Trang who messaged us ahead of arrival, we arrived at 3am due to buses and she sent a video showing us how to get into the property and where our room would be located which was really helpful! Not to mention the support on showing us where to visit as well as prices for them. 150k a day moped rental was helpful, do this or rent a bike, and laundry service was really good for a wash. Breakfast was also a win with staff confirming your breakfast for the next day.

The staff were so lovely . Got up at 5.30 to do us a pack up for our journey. Great location and enjoyed exploring on bikes . Walking distance to Mau cave and Trang a boats . Easy to get a grab taxi into tam coc

Towels and bedding could be better . But for what you pay you really can’t complain

We really loved our stay at the Kong's home stay. The breakfast was very good, rooms were comfy and clean. The owner was extremely helpful e.g. we got some recommendations of what to do and which place avoid in Ninh Binh and all of them were matching our preferences. We were located in the top floor which we highly recommend for great views. The place is located between to touristic attractions with decent number of food options around. We rented the motorbike for 150k per day.

The rooms could have some cabinets or shelves to keep and organize things otherwise you have to keep everything on the floor or small table.

Huge spacious bright room, big windows with black out blinds. Such a peaceful location. Lovely restaurants within minutes of stepping out of the home stay. Very clean and feels brand new. Comfortable beds. Perfect location for exploring Trang An, Hang Mua, surrounding areas. We borrowed bikes to ride to Hang Mua, as not far at all. If you don’t want to stay in the cities of Ninh Binh or Tam Coc, I highly recommend here.

The pancakes for breakfast weren’t great but the second day we opted for local noodles and they were delicious! Lovely selection of juices and teas.

Very spacious room with big bed and both the AC unit and the fan. There were several breakfast options to choose from. The highlight was the host that spoke good english and provided several reccomendations regarding the tourist attractions.

It is perhaps not the Homestay's fault (at least we don't think so), but there seems to be some issue with homestay's address provided by booking (or with its interpretation by the navigation system) - to reach the homestay we had to follow location of the homestay indicated on google and booking maps and not the address on the booking confirmation - someting to keep in mind when trying to reach the place.

Calm and relaxing atmosphere, nice small restaurants in the surroundings, super friendly and helpful staff

Good family-run homestay in Trang An village. Nice location for a day or two and close to where the best boat trips leave from.

Nothing much to dislike except the nearby loudspeaker broadcasting spoken Vietnamese to the village every day for periods of 10 or 15 minutes. One day it started at 5.45am!

Great Homestay run by a really nice and caring family. The room was clean, the garden nice, breakfast was very good and I felt very welcome. It's right in the middle between a lot of sights and outside of the crowded Ninh Binh.
