Sheffield 3-bedroom house with free street parking

Very clean, nothing flashy, facilities were as-described. Does what it says on the tin.

Kitchen was lacking in cooking implements, had 1 pan and 2 frying pans. Bath didn't work, hot tap was hanging off.. no water in either tap. The bath was a key reason we booked this place as we needed one for our 2 year old. TV was lacking in catch up apps - no way to install BBC iPlayer. Carpet tacks pocking through on the stairs, missing / mismatched floor tiles in the kitchen.

Quiet location, easy access to city py public transport, parks and countryside. Top floor space was excellent for a teenager Dog friendly Good pubs, shops and lovely park within 10 minute walk.

Garden needed some attention - grass very long and it would be nice to have some garden furniture. Garden is not totally dog or child friendly as there is a walk through to other properties although we didn't see it being used in the 2 days we were there. Stairs very steep so not good for anyone with mobility issues. Trams are not dog friendly Some storage in twin and top floor bedrooms would be useful

The house was very good.it ticked all the boxes for our stay .

Absolutely nothing we could find fault with at all. Splendid property.

To go from good to great this place could aim to get the little things right. Maybe some cooking staples are available like salt, herbs etc. A little house manual would help understand where things are and how they work. Nothing major but just the little touches.

The house itself is beautifully decorated and spotless. Beds were comfy. The host contacted on the day, as promised to give us the code for the key box. We were using the property just for sleeping mainly, so we didn't use the cooker etc but I could see it was well laid out for being able to make food.

I would not recommend this property for people who struggle to get up and down stairs. The stairs are really steep and if you're walking back to the property, its right at the top of the hill. Walls are thin, we could hear the neighbour shouting at his kids.
