Location and beach.

The description is a little misleading. There is not a private beach. The view to the beach is across a public parking area. There are no views of the mountains from the property. However that said the location and views are still great.

Fabulous location. We were so lucky with the weather and enjoyed being close up the beach. The conservatory was lovely at night. Bathrooms were great with one per floor and the en-suite. Comfiest beds too! Bucket and spade was a nice touch.

Only small critique would be tea towels being provided would be great and I’d ditch the open food such as rice and condiments. Salt, pepper and a pint of milk would be fab! Most people won’t touch other peoples food stuff so it’s a waste and takes up valuable cupboard space.

Large and comfortable. Very well positioned to explore the whole Lake District area but enjoy the seaside as well.

Smashing house right on the beach. Well maintained and owners very responsive to a couple of small queries.

The house was very spacious & had fans in the room which were a god send in the mid summer heat! Plenty parking just outside & right on the beech front!

The location was okay but there weren't any shops nearby. The closest shops were a ten minute car ride into Maryport, which was fine but just not very accessible if you had a drink and needed extra bits!

The house had every appliance you have at home, we stayed as a couple so only used the en-suite bedroom which was very comfortable. The kitchen area was spotless and fully equipped. The living room was comfortable with plenty of seating and a lovely view.

if there had been more people staying the other rooms are not en-suite and have to share 1 bathroom.

The location is perfect because it is just in front of the beach. Amazing view especially during sunset. House is very spacious and very clean. highly recommended!
