Sunset House On The Beach

Lovely location. We were very lucky with the weather, too.

The house was in a great location and was very comfortable and plenty of room. Lots to see and do locally. House very well maintained and in a perfect spot with great views across to Scotland.

A fresh, modern house superbly located in the village to make the most of the famed sunsets overlooking the Solway and across to Scotland. Right on top of the beach and coastal path. The addition of the conservatory allows you to make the most of your stay all year round no matter what the weather. Great communication with the owners, fast and courteous replies. Looked to assist us at every opportunity. Credit to them!

Not sure if it was deliberately left or missed by the cleaning team but there was a part used 4pt milk in the fridge and some grated cheese. Whilst we were aware the house was dog friendly the throws in the bedroom could have been fresher. A small guide for the TV would have helped with navigation. On the whole though clean throughout..

Location fabulous,garden the dogs loved it, parking just outside.fyi a small gate to the front would be great .every room was great and the views out of this world.fyi kitchen could do with an up grade, but still great.😀

The views, everonewas friendly, the cafe 10 yards away was busy and great.

The property is well kept and was an absolute pleasure to stay at.

We would have brought tea towels had we realised these were required.

The location

The cleanliness. The Conservatory floor needed a good clean, as when the furniture moved you could see all the dirt. The kitchen floor had what looked like blood all over and we spent quite some time removing it.
