DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island

Loved the friendliness of the staff and that they went out of their way for us. Entertainment each day and night was awesome!

Basicamente, nothing.

It's a very old hotel! With ugly archictechure. Everything looks dirty ( it's not dirty, but looks like because of the material used to build the hotel). The swimming pool has a very unsafe way to acess and also is a very small pool for a 4 star hotel .

Staff needs to be more attentive. Communication isn't good. You keep going to different desks and get the run around for information. Hotel has limited food options.

The staff where all very professional and helpful and gave the very best hospitality - they definitely made the trip

The property is very tired and not up-to the Hilton standard. Tiles missing from pool - taps loose in main bathrooms - roof tiles missing from villas and some villas without roof material. Sea wall damages - apart from the physical the design it tired and doesn’t support young kids and adults - they have plenty of room but only one pool which wqs often lawless

The pros- kids club was included and took 3 year olds which was a great surprise for us. The club literally had our 2 kids in it so I’m not sure they advertise it well. The villas were clean and well appointed and the facilities had all you needed for a relaxing stay. One thing was having an indoor area for kids club as it was quite hot would be a great addition. The staff were so lovely and friendly and so good with kids.

It is not near anything so if you wanted other food or to pop to the supermarket it was a taxi ride. The food from pool and room service was average, we didn’t try the restaurant but the morning buffet had everything you needed.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced, landscaping is beautifully maintained, rooms cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels. Pool is great and the sun beds have a fantastic view over looking the water. Spa services were great, massages and hair braiding for our daughter. Amelia who works in the spa was amazing.

Lack of options food wise. You are limited to an overpriced buffet dinner, room/pool service menu or an overpriced and slow restaurant (Tavu). Very minimal salad or fresh food options, unless you choose the buffet. Rooms are run down, ours was covered in small ants and not many of the power points worked.

Good little island Location, friendly staff even the staff waiting for you on the other side.

Nothing bad to say about the property as we only stayed for a day.

I liked the food and the location of the room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay enjoyable. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

Disappointing stay. The room is overdue for renovation, the toilet was broken, and the lighting setup was confusing. The room also felt quite dim and would benefit from brighter lights. Management should address these issues to improve comfort and guest satisfaction.
