Serene Oasis Resort - Oslob Cebu Philippines

I had such an amazing stay at Serene Oasis Resort! From the moment I arrived, I already felt the calm and peaceful vibe of the place. The surroundings are clean, beautifully landscaped, and really live up to the name “Serene.” It’s the perfect spot if you want to relax, recharge, and escape the busy city life. It was almost typhoon season during my stay, and I was a bit worried at first — but thankfully, the weather was fine and the area wasn’t affected at all. Everything went smoothly, and I was able to fully enjoy my time there without any worries. The staff were all so friendly and respectful. What really stood out to me was how they bow as part of their greetings — and it’s not just one or two of them, but almost everyone! It felt so warm and sincere that I couldn’t help but smile and bow back too. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely cared for. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the air-conditioning worked great, and it was so peaceful — no noise, just the sound of nature and the sea breeze. The food was also delicious! Everything tasted fresh and was served beautifully. Breakfast by the beach was such a highlight — relaxing, scenic, and just what I needed to start the day. In terms of value for money, I’d say this resort is absolutely worth it. You really get what you pay for — comfort, service, and a quiet, relaxing environment. Si buscas un lugar tranquilo, con un personal increíble, buena comida, habitaciones limpias y un ambiente súper relajante, Serene Oasis Resort es definitivamente el lugar ideal. ¡Se lo voy a recomendar a mis amigos y familia, y ya estoy emocionada por volver! Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations. I noticed a few people gave low ratings, but maybe it’s because Serene Oasis is one of the more high-end resorts in the area, and not everyone appreciates that kind of quality and tranquility. Well, I got exactly what I paid for — and it was worth every cent!

Das Hotel an sich war akzeptabel – sauber und soweit in Ordnung.

In der Zimmerbeschreibung steht ausdrücklich „mit Balkon“, und das ist schlicht gelogen. Es gibt keinen Balkon! So etwas darf einfach nicht passieren. Erst irgendwo im langen Beschreibungstext findet man versteckt den Hinweis, dass es doch keinen Balkon gibt. Das ist täuschend und sollte von Booking.com sofort unterbunden werden. Außerdem ist es das Allerletzte, dass man die Buchung trotzdem nicht stornieren oder ändern darf, obwohl die Angaben nachweislich falsch sind. So etwas darf auf einer großen Plattform wie Booking.com nicht vorkommen.

Is no clean and no service cleaning room and to much lacoste there really i m to much angry about that

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and bathrooms also. We enjoyed the karaoke room and pool table. Having our trips around the island and airport transport arranged was easy with the hotel staff.

The breakfast was average, though and so were the dinners - they had a wide selection of meals but many of them were pre-maid stuff (like pizzas) and we missed fresh fruit/coconut juices that we'd enjoyed in other places in the Philippines. There is no beach in the area (which is all right, we knew it in advance) but the access to the sea could have been better. There are nice corals not far away from the coast but not easy to get to it. If the pier was a bit longer, it would just be great! In general, there is nothing to do around the hotel (which was expected for the place and we didn't mind) and you must rely on trips.
