"Exceptional"

The cottage was well equipped with instructions for using washing machine dishwasher and oven. It was cold when we first arrived but warmed up when we put the heating on. The owner greeted us and was extremely helpful in regards to where to park our car.

There were no shops in the village and the closest were about 15 minutes away. The owner had let us know ahead of time, so we were able to stock up beforehand.The cottage was near a major road, easy access to and from, but there was some background traffic noise.

Lovely cottage, immaculately clean with everything you need for a great break. Keswick and Cockermouth within a 20 min drive. So nice we have booked to go again.

Really clean and well equipped and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Lovely courtyard fadden and excellent shower. Enjoyed the Netflix.

I wasn't a fan of how strong the airfreshener was in the lounge but that's a tiny detail!

the house is very Cosy and convenient. you have every thing you need. communication with host is very good. easy check in. the house is clean and well equipped. easy excess to lake district major sights.

Perfect home. Plenty facilities. Welcoming host. Comfortable beds. Clean, warm and cosy. Good site to explore surrounding areas. Close to main road. Games, Tv and music. Village pub in walking distance.

"Excellent quiet cottage on the edge of the Lake District"

Beautiful cozy cottage in a quiet location. Lots of interesting stuff nearby by car or an excellent bus service to Carlisle and a number of nearby villages. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Lovely cottage."

The cottage was very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Very clean and the host's were welcoming and friendly. Close to a bus route,used the bus to go to Keswick & Carlisle left car parked at the cottage.

The cottage is next to a busy road so a little noisy at night time when in bed. After first night got used to road noise.
