Pinfold Cottage on the edge of lake district

Good location for trips to Keswick and other smaller lakes. Property located by the road but did not bother us. Everything in the property very clean and ready for our arrival. All you need is there with washing up liquid, tea towels, soap and shower gel provided as well.

We found wasching machine to be out of order and awaiting parts. We felt disappointed not to be informed about it before our departure. This was an inconvenience , especially as the weather was not on our side and most of our clothes were muddy. A nice addition would be to add a couple of board games for entertainment on a rainy day.

Very nice, clean and comfy cottage. Easy access to Lake District and surrounding beaches. Private free parking. Nice small village and scenery from the cottage. We stayed for 1 week and explored whole Lake District and Cumbria. We enjoyed our stay at this nice and lovely cottage. Owners live next door and very helpful.

It is close to main road A595, during day time if windows are open then a little traffic noise, but night time traffic gets quieter. So not a big issue.
