Perfect location with great friendly staff which ticked my boxes for a one night stay.

I stayed on a very hot night, so air con would have made it more comfortable on this occasion.

Location, nice room, clean, comfortable bed..

No air conditioning, only one bath towel.

Beautiful period building, well decorated room, dog friendly, good breakfast, excellent staff, nice outside space, decent evening meal, quality bedding etc. Tea, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuits and chocolate in room. Good value.

A little road noise at front. Far too hot ( but it was an exceptionally hot period so not normal). There was a fan but it didn't help much. Window didn't stay open and it would have been too noisy in any event.

Newly renovated rooms

Staff were not as skilled as others appeared to be communication issues internally and they were happy to complain about it to each other in front of you.

Had everything we needed, the food was brilliant, very dog friendly and the location was absolutely perfect for our visit to Virginia Lakes

Only downside was with the weather being so hot, the bedrooms don’t have air conditioning so it was far too hot in the room

Helpful friendly staff clean tidy throughout. High standard good decor.
