Cozy Galleria Apt near Uptown with Free Park

Location is great! Galleria Mall is right around the corner. Quiet neighborhood centrally located.

Kinda tight driveway in and out of parking area but great private parking.

The location.

1. The lack of cleanliness (floors were unclean). 2. The linens had holes in them! 3. The towels need to be replaced, they were worn.

Unfortunately the towels were too washed out... and I would have liked them to be cleaner

Sorry to say, that the only thing I found that was good was the layout.

Sorry to say, but it had a very strong chemical that keep me from sleeping that night as well as the bedding was old and also smell like the chemical too so I got one of my clean blankets from the van and tried to sleep, but with little success.

we never actually got to stay in this apartment. when on an hour long layover in dallas i got a very last minute text saying the apartment booked was having maintenance and we had to stay in a different property. they gave us 2 apartments as they didn’t have another 2 bed for us, but as young women we didn’t feel comfortable being separated in a foreign country so had someone sleeping in the living (in which we still had to barricade the door as we felt unsafe). the apartment was dusty and hadn’t been properly cleaned. 24/7 there was awful drum and bass music playing from the neighbours that caused the walls to vibrate so sleeping without earplugs was impossible. we were missing a few amenities we were promised with the original bookings such as a washing machine and hair dryer. in the hosts defence they did drop off hairdryers when we brought up the issue but no washing machine was frustrating as we had packed for the trip with that in mind. i understand the maintenance of the original apartment was unplanned for the hosts as their was a leak but what we received as compensation wasn’t particularly satisfactory considering we spent hundreds more on Ubers being the other side of houston and far further from our friends we were visiting. very unsatisfied.
