The price was good, especially for students.

The facility was clean, but that’s about all it had going for it. The beds are not comfortable, which is to be expected at any hotel, but they have motion sensor lights built into the desk (which is right by the bed) which takes ages to turn off. Every time I rolled over in bed while trying to sleep, the desk light turned on and it kept me up repeatedly all night. I asked them to turn it off, but they didn’t, and said there’s no way to do so. I found myself trying to make the most minuscule movements while sleeping, but god forbid a hand or foot snuck out of the covers and bam, on comes the light. It was also wildly hot and humid on the floor, and though they did find a fan for me, it was one of those fans where you can’t find the wind stream, so it made very little difference. Overall, it got the job done, but I will not be staying there again.

The staff were friendly.

Bed uncomfortable- could feel the springs. Inadequate information about facilities (e.g. wi-fi, how kitchen works). Overheated kitchen with no windows. Annoying random lights timeout in bedroom and bathroom. Booking experience also not great (not clear at time of booking that you have to scan your passport).

It was better than I expected it to be!

The shared kitchen was a mess all the time… but I guess that’s on other guests.

Not much to be honest, a personalised fridge, a bowling alley and a gym.

The room was not clean, earbuds in the light above the bed. Ceiling of the shower cubicle was dirty and there was still someone else's underpants in a corner of the room. When I mentioned the latter, there was barely an apology. Their own comms are very clear: upon arrival the id is only checked, that was not true. A copy was made, even though they already had this. No clear explanation about the purpose of it all and about data security at all. When I checked out I did not a confirmation that I had, not even after I asked for it. The bed is bad. Thank God for the heat outside, and inside, so I could use the duvet as an additional cover for whatever was underneath me.

Nice location.

They only left one toilet paper roll. I asked for more and they told me that I was supposed to get it, which I find ridiculous 😂, and was not informed in advance. The room was very small, which I knew and was already expecting, but the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, old and made a lot of noise.

One of the cheaper alternatives and in a convenient location. Good desk with mini-whiteboard. Plenty of plug sockets including USB. Although I didn't have time to use them, the gym, entertainment, and kitchen amenities were impressive. Retractable clothes line in the shower was a nice touch.

Property was extremely warm throughout. Soundproofing between rooms is not good. My window faced a main road so keeping the window open overnight was not an option. My sleep quality suffered. There were also a couple of minor things like the mud/dirt on the carpet and the lack of hand-soap (only shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, and hand lotion) and no shower mat. I'm not sure the ventilation in the shower room was working, there was a mould/mildew smell.
