The Kingsway- 2 Bedroom Central Swansea Apartments By StayRight

Apartment was clean and well equipped. Ideally placed for town centre

Issue with check in and we were moved from apt 17 which we had booked to apt 19. Not the apartment we booked and were only told when we called as there was no key.

Check-in experience was pretty good. Easy to find the apartment and get in.

- Couple of "add-ons" would be nice. Simple things like there were no hand soap, shower gel, shampoos, etc in the bathroom, small bottle of water in the kitchen etc could be nice touches. - The shower in the apartment is super small!!! I'm not a tall guy (I'm 5' 10") and I had to crouch down to be able to get water on my head. There was plenty of ceiling space so I'm not sure why this isn't just extended up. There wasn't much space in the shower cubicle either. - There seemed to be some mix up with our bookings. On Saturday morning, there was someone buzzing on our door saying that they had a booking for our apartment. I had to spend time during my day coordinating with him and it turned out that they had originally booked Apt 19 and I had originally booked Apt 15 but they got switched at some point. - Final point was that this apartment could sleep up to 5 people and only 1 key was provided. There were only 2 of us at the apartment this weekend but if there had been more, it would have been extremely difficult to manage.

The location was the only saving grace of this property.

We arrived at the property and on the surface it looked great. However, upon closer inspection there was countless issues across the property. The beds were very uncomfortable in both bedrooms causing a lack of sleep. The temperature was unbearable in the apartment our entire stay and we had to leave the property due to this on multiple occasions as there is no air flow through the property at all. There was clear evidence of disregard and damage throughout the property due to a broken shower head and toilet seat, water not draining from the showers, marks and damage all over the walls, one of the windows broken and being able to open fully inwards and drawers not being fully secured and falling off if opened. The overall stay really dampened our experience of Swansea and we ultimately didn’t stay our final night and just wanted to leave.

Very spatious rooms and good location in the town centre. No parking but NCP car park across the street for about £6 a day.

Too many steep stairs to get to the apartments; all the Airbnb properties were on the 3rd floor (6 steep flights of stairs). The rest are all residential properties.

Location and clean.

The mattresses need to be a better quality. The single beds were uncomfortable.

The apartment was much bigger than we expected and we loved how it was decorated. The location couldn’t have been better!

The property was in a good location and had plenty of space for my friends and I to enjoy a weekend away.

It was very dirty - hair on the pillows, a dirty towel, dirty cutlery and crockery, and the sofa was very very grubby. The beds were uncomfortable.
