Very unclean, basic facilities such as tv not working, smelly trash bag left in hallway and compound was full of junk. No communication from host despite trying to reach out several times to complain about these issues. Worst place I’ve stayed. Not to mention the very noisy cheap bed that was almost falling apart. Such a ripoff

The bedroom was ok . Kitchen decor was ok too

The place was very shoddy . It needs redecorating in the living room and bathrooms . The couch needs a good clean . The bare wires in the entrance need to be concealed . There was no kettle when we arrived . It turned up on the morning we were leaving . The outside drive had old furniture ready for the tip . We just made do with it for the 2 nights for somewhere to stay . I don’t normally complain but they need to sort this place out.

Straight away, there were loose wires hanging from the walls, a light bulb in the hallway dangling, no longer attached to the actual ceiling, the shower only did cold or burning hot, the room had mould and muck on the curtains, the door didn’t feel secure, the bed was uncomfortable, there were another family staying, who’s kids were running up and down until gone 11pm shouting, screaming and screeching, trying our door, banging on our door, I informed the owner within a reasonable time and was completely ghosted, it was disgusting to say the least. Had very little sleep between the mixture of insecurity of the door lock to the bed’s uncomfortabilty and the annoying children. Avoid at all costs

Not exactly what we expected. It looked much more better on pictures. The walls were scratched, the beds totally unconfortable, everybody had a terrible back pain.

Bombarded with emails prior to our stay, having to provide further details & a £150 security deposit against damages. The overwhelming information meant it was difficult & stressful to figure out how to get to the property & gain access. No key provided to lock the main door from the inside, despite this being on the check-in information. This meant the property was insecure whilst you were there, and given the area the whole situation felt extremely unsafe. Lock in the room door was loose & poorly fitted. House stunk of stale cigarettes, alcohol & urine. Property did not look like the photos at all; everything was very tired & scruffy. Property owners unhelpful & ghosted us when we raised the insecurity issue. They also insisted if we canceled, we would have to pay a further £200 fee on top of what we had already paid for accommodation. Advised that any late check-out would incur £50ph fee. Overall turned our trip into a nightmare & Booking.com less than helpful. This property is a rip-off scam that should not be listed.

1.No privacy with 4 families sharing 2 bathrooms/toilets 2.No daily cleaning of rooms 3.Was like a school hostel set up with families on the left and right of you. 4.Any late entry of a resident disturb your sleeping time as doors were opening and closing 5.Room inadequately furnished with a 1 metre width cupboard insufficient to store the clothing of a couple.No table or chair in the room.One display shelf.One side pedestal. 6.Mattress springs were noisy.Everytime you turned it squeaked. 7.The yard is untidy and unkept with an extended room with stuff lying around. 8.Gate is left wide open with no security measures in place 9.We endured by leaving home at 7am and returning at 8pm. 10.As a seasoned client of Booking.com I kindly request you evaluate this place for future bookings.Has left a bad feeling knowing we have left our home in South Africa to enjoy a holiday in Scotland.
