It was so quiet and out of the way. The facilities were perfect and just what we hoped for and needed. Cannot fault it at all, 110% recommend it to others. The owners were so helpful and amazing.

The surrounding areas were absolutely stunning and the interior was both rustic and modern - a perfect blend.

There was nothing to dislike!

The hosts were so friendly. We are walking the Coastal Path and this was a perfect spot to stay for the night. They did some groceries for us so we could make ourselves dinner and breakfast. Which was a great offer as there is not much around (minimum 30 minute walk). The whole experience was great.

"Can’t wait to return!"

10.0

I loved the location of the property - felt really remote but was within easy driving distance of villages and towns on the west of the IoW. The hosts were amazing and shared island knowledge. It was my first stay on the IoW and I was truly wowed by what was on offer.

Loved it all.

"The perfect space and place to switch off"

10.0

The overall feel of this place is unlike anywhere we've stayed, in a very good way. Host David has updated the cabin to a very high standard, and it's a glorious place to spend a few days, Sturdy, well insulated, cosy, nice modern kitchen and bathroom. What you really get is open space, quiet, comfort. a connection to nature, plenty of ouside seating, great views, and above all a calmness and sense of relaxation you just don't get at a hotel, no matter how expensive. It's a perfect retreat from modern day sensory overload (although the Wifi is super fast). It made me think, and gave me the space to do so. It may not be for everybody - it has a bunk-style bed, there is no TV, no dishwasher, no microwave... but if you are looking for these it's not for you. You get kind hosts who strike the right balance between attentiveness and giving space & peace. There's lots of natural screening around the building; you get escape but not isolation. It was also genuinely spotlessly clean, sometimes a major bugbear for us because cleanliness costs little. The little extras - delicious Isle of Wight dairy milk and chocolates were a nice touch. Location is good also - easy to access by car, plenty of parking space, convenient for Yarmouth and indeed all ferry routes. Two left furns at junctions and you're in central Yarmouth in 10-15 minutes. There are plenty of local walking routes so you can enjoy the bucolic surroundings. Thanks a lot David & Moragh. Your care for the place is evident. We will be back.

Nothing.
