Isle of Wight Cabin

The cabin was stunning & located in a very peaceful & quiet area of the island. We were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be happy to stay here again!

This is absolutely fantastic place to stay! Calm and quite countryside location, at the same time in very convenient distance from both Newport and Yarmouth (15 min on a car). BBQ grill is provided. Effectively you would live in an orchard (not quite, it is a olive tree garden but still). And a cherry on the top of this cake - the most friendly and hospitable hosts we ever encountered!

We loved how spacious yet it still felt cosy and homely. The property was in a nice area close to main shops as well as beautiful scenery. The owners were super friendly giving us everything we needed including some fresh fruits!

Our stay at the cabin... no words can really do it justice. Not only is the cottage tucked away in the peace and quiet of a huge, picturesque garden overlooking the meadows and trees of a nature reserve, but David and Moragh are the loveliest hosts you could wish for. The cabin itself was meticulously clean, very well equipped and we loved the bed, which was so comfortable and felt like a cosy, peaceful haven. The predominant usuage of natural materials in the cabin beautifully harmonises with the surroundings. We also greatly appreciated the water filter. David and Moragh's hospitality comes from their hearts and we really felt that. They were always there to answer any questions and we had some good and interesting chats. We feel blessed and grateful for the time shared and will definitely be back one day. The cabin is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at and I highly recommend this accommodation. Everything was perfect, nothing to dislike.

The cabin is located in a beautiful setting, 20 mins from West Cowes on the edge of the National Trust reserve. David & Moragh were amazing hosts, very kindly shuttling us to/from Cowes. Great location to unwind

Checking in was easy, with David meeting us on arrival and showing us around. He had lit the woodburner, so the cabin was warm and inviting. It was comfortable, clean and quiet, with thoughtful touches such as locally-sourced chocolates, filtered water, and good-quality shower products. It is in a secluded spot in a lovely garden with great views, and in a particularly picturesque corner of the island. We had dinner in a nearby pub David had recommended, which was excellent.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, located in a secluded area of Isle of Wight with easy access to local walking routes. It is a perfect retreat for a quiet stay with impeccable conditions and a loving touch from Moragh and David (motorcycling soul mate) to the property. The inner design, the log burner, the extremely comfortable bed and access to the nice garden is in perfect harmony. We loved having our breakfast outside under the oak tree with the sun beaming down, watching the pheasant couple casually strolling only few meters from us. It is a peaceful gemstone tucked away, where anyone staying will leave energised and with great memories.

Should have come with our motorbike so we could have had a short spin with David and his Royal Enfield. Next time ;) Otherwise NOTHING AT ALL.

Extremely clean and delightful facilities available. So cozy with the log fire which was on a few hours prior to our visit and the owners were so lovely and helpful, providing a map of the area for scenic walks. Very comfy bed and all you will need for cooking, pleasant shower and plenty of storage. Such a beautiful location, surrounded by trees and wildlife and waking up to the sound of chickens was my personal favourite. Worth every single penny!

The cabin is exceptionally cosy with a wood burner and ample wood provided. The bed has a beautifully comfortable mattress and is built inside a nook. Good quality coffee, tea and toiletries were provided and the fresh gold top milk was a welcome luxury. The property is surrounded by fields and trees and we enjoyed waking up to peace and views of the countryside. David our host made our stay and generously drove us to Yarmouth for dinner out as well as giving some easy to follow hints about walks out on the nearby estuary.
