"Too many faults, so won’t be returning"

3.0

The location of the property was good as close to places we wanted to visit eg Bamburgh Castle & Lindisfarne.

The property is in need of some TLC & a better cleaner. Cooking facilities were bad, oven dirty so didn’t use, grill ok, had to use as frying pan was unusable very bad rusty condition, needs throwing out 2 of the 3 pans available were dirty. 2 Pizza trays both very well used, dirty, need replacing. Dishes needed washing before we could use. No dishcloth, only 1 tea towel. No tinfoil or clingfilm or kitchen towel. These items I expect as standard, for price of stay. Kitchen sink was leaking & had been for sometime as drawer below was full of water, kitchen equipment inside was very wet, & unusable. Contacted owner who said they would send a maintenance man, we declined this offer as didn’t want this work carried out during our stay, we collected dripping water in washing up bowl for duration of our stay. This problem should have been resolved prior to our stay, as a previous guest had also complained, same issue. Outside decking needs power washing, very grubby. Unable to use decking furniture as all cushions soaking wet & covered in green algae/moss. Guttering on roof needs clearing, full of large amount of weeds. Hottub not at all inviting to use, judging by the state of cleanliness of rest of lodge, didn’t fancy getting in the water. Toilet in en-suite was leaking from bottom of pedestal. Therefore we had to share main bathroom. Needless to say, We won’t be making a return visit, shame really as area has such a lot to offer.

"Lovely family break but everything needs a little TLC!"

7.0

The location was great for getting out and about around the North East of England. Percy Wood County Park was very tidy and quiet, the few people we did see were very friendly. The caravan itself had everything we needed and it's layout was great. The beds were comfortable and the living room/kitchen areas was great. Hot-tub was an added bonus. It could be a top class place to stay if you can maybe make some improvements from my other comments.

The caravan could do with some TLC. I reported upon our arrival that the toilet in the on-suite had a minor leak. Other issues included the shower tray in the on-suite didn't drain away very well, there was also another leak coming from the kitchen sink and the lights in the hall didn't work. When we first walked in the caravan looked tidy to the eye but on further inspection it really wasn't that clean. It looks like the cleaners hoover and do a quick surface clean and freshen the linen. It could really do with a good deep clean though, the toaster was full of old crumbs, the cooker hob and surrounding areas and shelves are thick of grease. The outside decking and hot-tub area needs a good pressure washing too. The hot-tub could also do with some attention as the head rests were all pulled off and left on the ground when we got there. Non of these things spoilt our stay, but thought it best to point them out for the owners to look into.

"Family loved it!"

Lovely location. Nice Quiet spot. Have been to similar property that cost more money and this one had better facilities

Paving could do with being extended from parking spot to gate and around hot tub.
