Ash Retreat Hot Tub

Had a 3 night stay for the Xmas🎄time and had a nice relaxing time, lodge was clean upon arrival and hot tub ready to be used, the lodge has everything you need to cater for yourself, would return again and would recommend to friends and family 👍

the whole caravan was spotless

the fact booking .com says check in was 4 so we waited till then . but i come across an email saying 3 pm . by this time it was too late and we lost an hour and it was raining and pitch black

Property was spotless and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a bonus for our stay and it was very private from the other properties around and a cover which meant we could still use it despite the weather. Had a great time here and would definitely return

Area around the hot tub was a bit uneven but definitely didn’t stop us using the facilities.

It was lovely and cozy. There was WiFi for the kids and also Netflix and Disney channels to watch. Hot tub was nice and the bedding smelt lovely and fresh.

There was no lighting around the hot tub so going in when it was dark was not good as it is at the back of the caravan. We opened the bedroom curtains so there was a bit of light. There were no tea towels.

The property is modern and well-equipped. You will find everything you need there. It can be a great base for trips around beautiful Northumberland. The lodge is situated in a quiet location surrounded by trees and the jacuzzi is a wonderful addition that will make your stay in this place more enjoyable. The owners were very nice and helpful - contact with them was very good. Highly recommended that place.

Everything was perfect (Can’t find any minuses)

Spacious and Comfortable the Lodge had everything needed for couples weekends to family holidays, perfectly clean 👌 will definitely go back.

The weather 😂 only bad thing about the weekend.

Lodge is spacious, comfortable and very warm, good location to travel to other places along the coast, sightseeing

Dirty entrance mat covered in pine needles, previous guests litter in bathroom bin, washing machine has dirty water inside & wasn’t working, oven had previous guests food, cooker hood was greasy, en-suite toilet didn’t work which was reported, leak under kitchen sink, mud on hot tub lid and on sides/steps, no light in hot tub area and extremely muddy as it rained, grill worked but only for so long. Had to clean pans/plates before use ! 1 towel provided per guest. Attention to cleaning wouldn’t go amiss as these issues have been raised in previous posts and in book in lodge. Shame really.
