Home away from home

The apartment is lovely and well decorated. Bed so comfy and shower great. Great facilities everything you would need if staying a little longer than I did.my what I didn't like about this apartment seems more than what I did.... That's absolutely not the case. It was the loveliest apartment, had parking was closed to local amenities. Was about £15 from Wolverhampton train station. It was perfect for me. However I have to raise the attention to the negatives. Obviously these apartments house people who live there and with that comes normal neighbour issues. Although I am raising awareness of this, don't be put off. It is a great place and if they would have me again I'd love to stay again. I even left them a bunch of flowers as a thank you xx

I'm being really picky here and some of the things are out of the owners control so this is absolutely no reflection on the apartment and service provided. Bedside drawers could have done with a little cleaning and the fridge smelt a little. TV in the bedroom didn't work, sound no picture. I was so comfortable but was woken up both nights by rowdy neighbours at 5am. The exterior of the building is a little off-putting. But when you get in the apartment you forget all that it's so lovely. The hallways did have some not so pleasant posters up too.... Again not your fault but you can imagine what I thought when I got there.xx

Hobbs were difficult to use, especially due to there being no markings on the dials to know when it is off or not

It was very peaceful. A lot of space good facilities

Very clean flat. Fully equipped and host easy to communicate with. Host left us a parking permit which was very helpful. Very good price

Internet not working which caused a problem as husband needed to do some work. No Internet meant no tv streaming. Area was quite rough with all sorts of youths hanging round the front entrance. Car park was full of broken fencing and rubbish everywhere. Am guessing building work not yet completed

The property is on the ground floor which is a bonus as I currently have an injury making stairs and struggling with lifts an issue. The sofa and bed are quite comfy

Both the apartment block and the immediate surrounding area is incredibly noisy, I was woken several times in the night by shouting, cars coming and going and general anti social behaviour - whilst I appreciate this is not under the direct control of the owner some noise dampening methods and some curtains rather than the standard venetian blinds would be beneficial. In the listing it says "soundproof rooms" which I highly challenge! In the property listing it mentions several things that are either simply not there or severely lacking, for example it says there is a bath which there isn't (in fairness this isn't shown on the photos but I was booking in a rush and didn't have the time to inspect the accompanying pictures). The listing also claims minimarket on site (? Aldi across the road), complementary toiletries (half a bottle of Lynx Africa and an unidentifiable bottle of something else), bathrobe - couldn't find it and I had to properly hunt for the towels, balcony (this was there but the doors to it were locked and no key visible, also there was no way of unlocking the windows), barber/beauty shop - none that I could see. The washing machine was there but was full of ?clean/dirty bed linen - presumably from the previous occupant, I ended up connecting the TV to my hotspot on my phone as I couldn't figure out how to connect to the "Good free WiFi 39Mbps" and there were no instructions on how to do this. There was a Nespresso coffe machine which obviously takes specific coffee capsules and none were provided. Granted I am being quite picky about this but I had booked the accomadation to attend a family funeral and after a challenging emotional day the last thing I needed was to go hunting for things, spedning ages trying to figure out how things worked and then being repeatedly disturbed when trying to sleep.
