"Very poor. Very unhelpful and unkind host. Ms Wang did not reply the whatapps message before 23:00pm"

None. Booking.com advertisement said that there is a car park space. I drove from London. It was 1.5 hours drive to oxford. I requested a car park space 12 hours before the check-in time by sending whatapps message to the host. The email that I received from the host said that I could whatapps her in advance to reserve a car park space in front of the house, and I did. On Sat, my phone was locked for 2 hours before 2pm. From the booking.com, the check-in time is before 23:00pm. I arrived between 10pm to 10:30pm. The car park space in front of the house was locked with two metal poles. I could not park my car. It was 2 degree cel and it was very cold. I then whatapps the owner called Lynn Wang. I asked her to unlock the car park space for me to park as I travelled on my own as a woman and I had heavy luggage. Ms Wang refused to reply her whatapps although it was within the check-in time (23:00pm). I then drove around to look for car park space. I crashed the front of my car as it was very dark. The damage of my car costed me £1000 to reply. I told Ms Wang that I could leave £5 cash in the hotel room so that she could release the car park space for me, and the message was sent at 10:30pm (before 23:00pm). Ms Wang refused to reply and she did not call me nor whatapps me between 10pm to 23:00pm. I was in my car for 5 to 10 mins in a cold weather and thought that Ms wang would reply me but she did not. In the morning, she said that it was my fault and she said that I should have called her. I booked the car park space 12 hours before check- in time and I whatapps Ms wang 12 hours before the check-in time. She refused to release the car park space for me and she locked two car park space in front of the house. I contacted her before 23:00pm (check in time) and she refused to reply. I was willing to pay £5 cash and I left it in the room (I mentioned in the whatapps). Ms Wang refused to released the car park space for me. It was very dark and very cold. My car was damaged.

"Very basic facilities."

The price. Quiet area. Good pub (The Punter) and supermarket (Waitrose) nearby. Good level of messaging with the helpful owners. 20 minute walk to the centre of town. On a bus route except the main road was closed so you had to walk 10 minutes to the station to pick up the bus.

The decor needs attention. Scuffed walls. Paintwork needs attention. Carpet tiles poorly laid. Mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Only one pillow. Only 2 hangers provided in the small wardrobe with a small shelf but no cupboard space because its a very small room. Private bathroom is tiny and inconveniently located down the stairs next to the front door. Bathroom was just about adequate for a medium size person but poorly maintained and extractor was thick with dust. No sink in the room so had to wash up in the tiny bathroom sink. No plate or tea towel provided in the room. Bathroom towels are small and basic quality. Walls are thin but luckily my neighbours were quiet. Code for the main door, code for the bathroom, code for the bedroom, code for the parking space (extra cost). Paid a total of £115 for 2 nights so I should have expected basic facilities. Would not stay again in the single-not-en-suite. The doubles with en suite looked better but for the same price you can stay closer into town. In my opinion it's worth paying more for a better standard of accommodation but this would suit someone on a tight budget.

"Disappointing"

I have stayed in this property before and had no issues, however this particular room does not seem suitable. I was unable to adjust the heating and so the room become far too hot during the night. The bed was very uncomfortable to the point where I got very little sleep Additionally the private bathroom for this room is located right next to the front door of the property. which is far from ideal. The property has some decent rooms for the price charged but this did not meet an acceptable standard.

"it was comfortable"

There was no response to the phone calls and WhatsApp messages until after 15.30 despite several calls since early in the day and a request to have an early check-in. There was not flexibility at all. the guest was in the area from 10.00am but did not get communication with self check-in code until after 15.30
