Retreat on the Lake

Beautiful cabin style room, the whole place looks freshly remodeled, convenient location. The bed was extremely comfortable the room was spotless. We did have some trouble with the door locks (locked out) which took some persistence to reach the office to resolve (20 min and more than 6 calls to get an answer) you can hear some road noise in the room, but i guess thats the price you pay to be in walking distance to most of Hiawassee. Its a nice place but i was very annoyed with the locks, the several other people i saw were struggling with them as well.

We really enjoyed both the staff and the tiny house! The staff was especially helpful in assisting our move to a tiny house. Would definitely stay again.

The property was updated and clean.

There was no communication prior to the day of arrival saying there was no staff on property and that we would need to wait for a door code so that was extremely inconvenient, but could have been avoided with prior knowledge. It was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. Especially when the keypad locked us out.

Tiny house D was amazing! Very comfortable and clean. Very nice set up.

Worst experience ever had traveling. Only available if you had electronics with you and not told this before arriving. No answer on phone mtg unavailable sat in hot parking lot an hour waiting for resolution

No breakfast, not really on the lake. No staff at all. Check in by text and same way for Check out.
