Riverside Cottage, Bridge of Balgie, Glenlyon, Perthshire

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, the surrounding views are spectacular. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, lovely log burner, and great facilities in kitchen etc. We did walks from the door and visited the tearooms around the corner which was lovely. Would definitely recommend, thank you.

Clean, simple and had everything we needed for a weeks holiday

Family members were frustrated by the wi-fi dropping out. Could do with a small straight edged sharp knife for vegetables & a small wooden chopping board

Location, great staff.

TV connectivity, after a day out and about it would help if the TV worked, our hosts went above and beyond to help fix the problem but equipment fault didn't help.

Lovely location by the river, with the tea room only a few minutes walk away. Glen Lyon - one of the most stunning glens in Scotland. Trout fishing permits easily obtained from the tea room.

Unfortunately my wife fell ill shortly into our stay and we left the property two days early. Must say that Aberfeldy Medical Practice were absolutely superb dealing with my wife's unexpected illness.

We’ve stayed here twice a year since our first time in 2020, we love the solitude, the beautiful scenery, the red squirrels in the garden, the cosy living room and well equipped kitchen.

There is nothing to dislike.

The location was perfect. Not ideal for families but great for fishing, walking etc

Lacking in areas; some decent outside furniture. Hand soap in the kitchen. Better joining instructions telling you in greater detail prior to arrival e.g, BBQ would have been nice to use but no info regarding it and the need to bring your own fuel. At the price being charged, a nice welcome / starter pack - milk, bread and maybe a bottle of wine. Not just two biscuits in a packet.
