Ma Pi Leng EcoLodge

I love everything about this place. It is situated on the edge of the Hill with beautiful views on looking at the river below and it owned by HMONG people.

I guarantee 💯 that this place will not be disappointed you and your money.

Good location for one night - right on the main road but the traffic stops from 7pm

The staff were not helpful. Most places we have travelled to another countries the staff are more than happy to help & give directions even with language barrier - at this place they just point and don’t help you. Also you pay top price compared to other played yet still have to pay for tooth brush?

The rooms were really cute and the views splendid.

Too load, too bright, not isolated enough, not peaceful.

The view was great, the rooms were clean and cute. The food was great

The service was not friendly or very helpful, and were curt. They moved our bags out of the room at 8am and began cleaning while we were at breakfast, we werent ready to check out and couldn’t use the bathroom. There was not a hot shower as promised nor enough water pressure to call it a shower. I used a cup to bathe properly. Not worth the $81. I paid less at other places that were more comfortable and friendly. There are other places in the area with great views, I wonder if they deliver what they promise.

The room had an amazing vew and it was very clean and comfortable.

No parking with easy accessibility. Had to climb up lots and lots of stairs with heavy luggage to get to rooms. Just be warned.

Beautiful view

Overpriced, paper thin walls (can hear neighbors using the bathroom), waited 30 min for coffee, no lamps or shelves, bed is mattress on the floor. This is a hostel pretending to be a “eco” hotel. Staff need training

Wonderful lodge with rooms with big windows looking at the Canyon. Also the dining area is amazing and the hot pot we ate there was the best we had in Vietnam. We also loved the ginger tea. It looks like on the photos in booking. Another advantage: We left our luggage at the lodge in the morning, organised via the lodge a short ride by motorbike to the start of the sky path and walked the whole skypath back to the lodge (it just ends there). Its good to walk in this direction as in this way you constantly descend and you enjoy amazing views. We can highly recommend this lodge.
