Staff is very friendly and helpful, yet lacks sufficient knowledge of English

The place is wonderful, and the staff is very professional and kind.

I have to say that if you come to rest in silence, the rooms are very noisy, I heard everything from my neighbors and was woke up every day at 6am by them. I could hear them walking and talking, even though they weren’t speaking loudly, both the neighbors next door and those upstairs.

Hübsches Zimmer und insgesamt eine sehr ansprechende Hotel-Anlage bestehend aus kleinen Häusern. Ausserordentlich hilfreiches und angenehmes Personal. Schöner Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Das Essen im Restaurant war leider gar nicht auf dem sonstigen 5 Sterne Niveau. Vielleicht wäre es besser, wenn die Küche einfach vietnamesisches Essen anbieten würde.

Jiva er et helt fantastisk hotell, anbefaler alle å dra hit. Vi var her på bryllupsreise og fikk ekstra oppmerksomhet med kake og roseblader. Personalet er så utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. De har gratis sykkelutleie og kan kjøre deg inn til byen. Vi hadde også en fantastisk teseremoni med Mai som var skikkelig avslappende. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake, tusen takk Finn og alle de ansatte. Fantastisk frokost!

Beautiful property surrounded by mountains

The light in the room is too dark. I wish the room has sliding glass doors to see the view and hear the birds chirping. The restaurant should switch up the soups choices, not just pho. I stayed at the resort for 5 days and 5 nights. I was tired of pho by the 3rd day.

There is very little to fault about Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat - the grounds, the staff, the rooms, the amenities, the location all are top tier. You really feel like you are away from the craziness that is scooter Vietnam, the word retreat in the name is a perfect description for this property. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a couple incidents whereby we were charged/going to be charged for using/breaking. We used a face cloth in the room - which did get dirty because, its a face cloth - and we were charged for it. While it was a small charge, be careful not to get too muddy in the area on the bikes as you might be charged for using the towels. We had another incident in the spa area whereby the shampoo bottle was broken - initially the spa staff followed us down with a card machine to take payment for the ceramics, but eventually explained what had happened to a Manager that was on site and it was "dropped". A word of warning, the shampoo and conditioner bottles are very heavy, slippery, and not secured properly - the property should look to revise these in the rooms and spa if the cost of the ceramics are expensive to a point where you threaten to charge guests for breaking them when not secured properly

The views from the property were incredible. It was very tranquil and relaxing. Everything was clean and immaculate and the location was perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly and the food from the restaurant was excellent.
